Kojima is worried The Phantom Pain may be too big for some people to finish

Kojima is worried that people will start complaining that they can’t beat The Phantom Pain, because it’s simply too big.

“I cannot disclose the amount of missions, but we’ll have a lot of missions in there.” Kojima said to IGN. He mentioned earlier The Phantom Pain is going to be roughly 200 times bigger than Ground Zeroes, and aside from having much larger areas to roam around, there are also additional gameplay features such as managing Mother Base. Kojima feels there is a ‘risk that people won’t be able to finish the story’.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain doesn’t have a release date yet, but it’s safe to assume it’s at least a year away. In the meantime, people can get a taste of the gameplay with Ground Zeroes, releasing later this month.
