Korean language support confirmed for MGSV: The Phantom Pain
During an online conference from Sony Computer Entertainment Korea, Hideo Kojima confirmed in a pre-recorded video that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will support Korean language. This means subtitles and menus will both be displayed in Korean.
At Taipei Game Show Kojima also confirmed traditional Chinese support, and at Igromir the developer announced improvements to the Russian language options, which were later added to Ground Zeroes with a patch, so it seems like the studio is serious about localization for this installment of the series.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is set for a worldwide release later this year.

Wonder if he’ll bother using it though, his english is rather good, and if he’s like me, he’ll find the mix of languages odd.
I remember the one instance where I was tempted into trying a Norwegian install of The Battle For Middle-Earth 2, and I found it horribly awkward and weird with Norwegian text in what should IMHO be kept in it’s original language. I believe I reinstalled it to English within 4 minutes XD
But then again, I’ve turned off subtitles on everything English since the age of 10 Oo
Hope they do arabic. I remember they said something about that a long time ago.

The people in spain want snake to talk in spanish. They are crazy. Their spanish sounds so bad. It seems like all the characters have the same voice. And they use stupid phrases like “I shit in the milk”. wtf?
Yeah a Metal Gear game in Dutch would be pretty awful as well. And in what context would that sentence even be used? 😛
“i shit in the milk” means “me cago en la leche”. Milk is used, in this case, for your luck. You could translate to “i shit in my luck”.
They dont say Get the hell out of here, they say Get out of here shiting milk.
Imagine playing battlefield or call of duty like that. They need to be neutral if a translation will be used in another countries.
Yeah, there hasn’t been a Spanish voice over that really nailed it with the translation. The only one I like to hear in spanish is “caballeros del zodiaco” Saint Seiya. That opening is nothing like the original and still badass.

Good for Korean natives.They’re gonna enjoy the game more and more.I hope they do this good.
But recently I re-watched the trailer from Gamescom’14.As you may know,the trailer was form the Afghanistan portion.There were some texts on the walls and on boards that was written in local Afghan Language(which is pashtoo,a branch of the Persian Language),and I gotta say,the texts doesn’t make any sense!!! It’s like someone changed the language to Persian and smashed the keyboard to see what comes up!!! I really hope they fix this issue.I can help them if they want!!!
