Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for Vita launches in Europe

It already came out in Japan and the United States, and now it’s Europe’s turn to enjoy the portable version of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. June 29 is the day European Vita owners can pick up this title. The package includes Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3 and the original 2D games, Metal Gear and Metal Gear: Solid Snake.

There are also some additional control options that make use of the PlayStation Vita’s functions, such as peeking around corners using the touchscreen or item selection using the touch pad on the back of the system. Then there’s trophy support, and the ability to use transfarring between the PlayStation 3 version and this one, meaning you’ll be able to use the same save file at home on your console and on the handheld.

The game came out yesterday in Japan, so now it has been released in all major regions.
