Details

Kotobukiya’s line of beautiful Bishoujo statues has brought you amazing characters reimagined in the Japanese “pretty girl” style for years, and now it’s expanding to a very familiar property, Metal Gear Solid! The first Metal Gear Solid game was released on PlayStation in 1998 and featured stealth action as directed by Hideo Kojima. A massive commercial success, “MGS” has gone on to include sequels and stories told through several other media. Presented like you’ve never seen her before and based on a new character illustration by Shunya Yamashita is SNIPER WOLF!

An enemy of Solid Snake and member of the evil FOXHOUND, Sniper Wolf first appeared in the original Metal Gear Solid game. Now she’s captured taking a rest from her overwatch duties, reclining on a crate with one foot resting on an ammo container. The elite markswoman is of course never without her weapon, and so she gently holds her sniper rifle in front of her with one hand. Sniper Wolf wears her iconic customized green and black uniform that’s open at the chest and her yellow/green hair flows down around her beautiful Bishoujo-styled face (with blue eyes and green lipstick) that looks at you like you’re a target. From her clothing to her rifle and the crate beneath her every element of this statue is intricately sculpted and highly detailed. There’s even a wolf pup peeking out from its hiding spot inside the broken crate! Sculpted by Takaboku Busujima (BUSUJIMAX), Sniper Wolf is 7 ½ inches tall (1/7 scale) sitting on her crate display base. Recruit her to stand guard over your collection and she’ll keep an eye on you!

  • Sniper Wolf sits back on a crate, cradling her sniper rifle while a wolf pup looks on from its spot in the broken crate.
  • Beautifully sculpted in 1/7 scale.
  • Based on a new character illustration by Shunya Yamashita.
  • Release Date: July 2016

    It’s … so bad!
    What did they do?
Sniper Wolf was such a noble character…

    • Merrk Lauthier

Finally someone else not just saying “She was a whore.” It’s Bishoujo so I understand it, but this just doesn’t fit her character at all. Such a shame.

      • qberty

It does. If you read up on the original artwork by Shinkawa, you’d realize this statue isn’t any more provocative then her previous incarnations. Infact, she’s even completely naked in some original sketches and drawings. It’s not just because of Bishoujo stuff.

It’s not a shame at all.

        • Merrk Lauthier

So did you actually play the game, or did you just look at Shinkawa’s concept art? He did a whole bunch of illustrations, and yeah some of them were provocative, but at no point in the game does her character suggest she’s anything other than a soldier.

It’s not based on some sexy illustration Yoji Shinkawa did almost 2 decades ago. It’s 100% Shunya Yamashita.

Well whatever. It’s going to sell. As far as Bishoujo statues go it’s pretty good and hell I’ll be getting one myself, but if they were going to produce a Sniper Wolf statue, I would have preferred something far different.

          • qberty

I have played the game. When it came out, and every other month since that time. It’s not directly based on the old artwork but it’s trying to honor the original artists illustrations. Regardless if it’s a different author. This is how this works. Happens for a lot of games in Japan like this.

Would you have preferred a Sniper Wolf in a pose she made while in the game? Why? For this to even sell it needs to target a specific audience. It just so happens that the biggest audience for desktop sized gaming action figures happens to be humans that like sexy poses. For every bland action figure/statue of a character you can name, I can find 10 “sexy” japanese versions.

Which is my point, it’s a cultural thing. Rather than saying that the artist is making her look “sexy” for the sake of it is pointless. lol

          • Merrk Lauthier

I totally get why they’ve gone down this road mate. Like I said I’ll be getting it myself. I’ll just be displaying it with my other Bishoujo stuff rather than my Metal Gear collection.

I don’t agree that it’s trying to honour Shinkawa’s artwork. They got Shunya Yamashita to do it since he’s massively popular and has produced artwork for statues that have sold to a massive market. There’s no artistic nod going on here. It’s dollar bills.

Would I have preferred a pose she made in the game? Not specifically. What I would have preferred is for Konami to give the duties to one of the houses that have done some of the recent statues. I would have preferred Gecco to do something a little more expensive, with better details and a pose that showed her to be kind of a bad ass. Throw a big wolf by her side as part of the base and BOOM. There’s a dope statue.

But they’re not going to do that since they’ve got a Sniper Wolf statue now. Obviously they thought (and are most likely right) that a Kotobukiya piece at a lower price point, with sex appeal will sell better. They’re running a business after all so I can’t blame them for that.

Like you said yourself man, for every regular statue there are 10 sexy variations. It’s cultural yeah, but now instead of being one amazing statue that stands out, she’s just one more sexy statue that’ll be lost among all the rest.

Anyway. It’s what we’ve got now. I’ll appreciate it for what it is, but lament it for what it could have been.

        • Boldizar

Yea but it doesn’t look like hentai. Shinkawa’s art is natural. This begs the caption “I’m so wet… Snake!”

        • PsychoMantis18

That statue portrays a whore. Sniper Wolf is no whore.

          • qberty

If you’re being serious, than you’re also being an idiot (ironically). There’s no way to confirm she is what you say she is if you’re just judging based on pose. Since it’s not the gun or the clothing or makeup or hairstyle (all of which are in the original game/drawings).

Or you’re trolling, in which case, no.

          • PsychoMantis18

We can deduce from that response that clearly YOU are an idiot.

A specific point I would like to focus on – please explain the irony?

As you don’t seem to understand the meaning of irony, here’s an example just in case:

Someone writes – ‘if you’re being serious, than you’re also being an idiot (ironically)’. Here we can see that this person has called someone an idiot while incorrectly using the word ‘than’ rather than ‘then’. This, and the misidentification of the situation as ironic, is a great example of irony.

            Well-done.

          • qberty

The irony comes from you saying something judgemental as if it were fact while simultaneously thinking you’re correct. Hence me using idiot.

Can’t believe you’ve even defend your point when it’s literally baseless especially without any reasoning.

          • PsychoMantis18

            And now you’re babbling.

          • ObsessedGeorge

Hahaha, like all revealing cosplayers! 😉

        • no_fox

I know that, i’d have “The Art Of Metal Gear” book right here. I just would like to see a little bit more of a classy statue.

    • Boldizar

Now she has noble boobs too. And you can imagine that the gun is a penis. Metal Gear?!

    • FMercenary

What can be said? It’s her day off; she can’t be restricted to just the characteristics she displayed in MGS1 while on mission. Sometimes girls just want to have fun.

    • César H. Sandoval

Who was sexualided as hell too, get over it.

      • no_fox

“Get over it”, for real? 😀 It’s not a big problem for me tbh, because i don’t have to buy it.

        • César H. Sandoval

I just don’t understand how all of a sudden, the fandom is in rage over a sexy figure of a character that shoved her cleavage in your face for half of her MGS1 role, and was known to use her sexuality as a weapon to fetch her prey.

Is not like she’s naked and touching herself, honestly, this fig is even pretty candid for Shunya’s stuff.

          • no_fox

She just doesn’t look like sniper wolf for me. More like a cheap barbie b*tch

  • Jav

off t. Today I realized something. Maybe the feeling of cutscenes emptiness ttp gave me it’s because just two missions have intro. The first episode and the skullface episode. 29 and 30 are one for me, like rescue code talker and the skulls fight. That’s why I feel gz offers something better in terms of story. It has a great 9 minutes intro and a very important ending. Besides, the mother base cutscenes are boring and repetitive.

Tpp should have, at least, 5 episodes like ground zeroes. I don’t know. Or ten maps like camp omega. Or… Ok, enough for today.

    • XOF

      Kind of like Peacewalker?

So 10 – 20 minute opening cutscene for each episode (or mission), a couple of short cutscenes in the middle of the mission, then 10-20 minute ending cutscene. Each ending cutscene makes you excited for next episode/mission like a tv show. hehe
Have a couple of filler missions in between these cutscene missions to slow the story down.

lol I’m pretty sure you complained about this several times in past articles. So maybe you should stop if you are repeating the same thing over and over and over and over and over again ….. lol

  • Jav

She was very good in using covers 15 years ago, not like…

    • Spectralbuttplug

      LOL

    • Lewis

Well, you compare one balcony, and quite a big map. Quiet’s fight would be really hard only if she didn’t follow the same steps every time. 2 supply drops and she is easily done.

      • Jav

She jumps and avoid the supply drop now.

        • Lewis

Since when? I used this tactic to get her back, after that update. Worked every time.

          • Full Options

Platform guys ? I tried and either I am not expert at supply drops either it is platform oriented. However, CQC is fun, I love to observe her looking for me.. xD

          • Lewis

PS4. I just order a supply drop and keep teasing her out of cover. Sometimes even make her perform a shot, but I’m sure it is not a reload animation thing, cause I managed to hit her even if she didn’t shoot.

          • Full Options

Ok thx, me too. I did not really insist though, it is ok for me to keep her busy / same location, but it looks like my drops do not land on her. It may have something to do with the way I select the drop location. 😀

          • Lewis

I just mark her, request supply drops on her via the map and pop in and out of the cover, so she doesn’t go away.

          • Full Options

THX for the tips, that’s what I tried but dunno why the tank(s) lands in the place where she ends when we beat her, instead of on the arch where she actually stands.. Dunno if it is dynamic weather or perhaps me locking the supply drops on her mark from the supply drop map instead of the general map maybe (I did not really tried). I’ll give it another try soon for fun (already lost few tanks on this sh.t xD).

          • Lewis

Do you always drop tanks? I drop the regular ammo resupply.

          • Full Options

Well, I love her of course but for the “cloaked duel”, I am still wondering if the heavier supply can better lower her life gauge. I am a noob at knocking down with drops, never usually use this. Are you telling me a tank won’t hurt her more than any other supply ?
Looks pretty economic, your info !! 😀

          • Lewis

Well, on a normal mission an ordinary supply drop takes 1/2 of her hp. So the mission usually takes less than 2 minutes. I don’t really remember how it is on hard, but iirc, it is the same 2 supply drops, but you have to lock her down in her reload animation.

          • Full Options

Wow, that much !? My poor babe, however good to know… xD

I keep her always locked, and the first time I saw her receiving a drop on youtube, it was a tank so I probably got influenced. Thx again I’ll try to send her a drop on your behalf ! 😉

          • Lewis

            Nice pic!

            That’s the spirit! I’m sure you’ll succeed. 🙂

          • Full Options

Ya his style look very naive, but the situation combined with the faces expressions, makes it hilarious / the spirit. 😀 Like a news paper joke cartoon.

          • Rico Salvaje

Get her attention, and try to make her shoot you. That works for me.

          • Full Options

            THX for the advice

          • Rico Salvaje

N.p. it works. It took me doing that mission 7 times and I got her again.

          • Full Options

Thanks dude, no problem to beat her (with CQC too), the “reunion” was not the issue. I was just trying to figure out how to drop a tank on her with supply drops just for fun…
That was what I was asking in first place higher in the comments, but thanks for your kind help anyways. Appreciated.

          • Rico Salvaje

N.p. I’m glad I could help. Quiet is awesome.

          • Jav

Oh, every time I tried that she always jumped.

          • Full Options

Me too, plat guys, plat !? It cost me a lot of tanks so I expect explanations !!? xD

I’m not sure how much evidence there really is for him dying soon after. We hear gunfire outside. Solid would not have been shooting his way through Outer Heaven. This could realistically be any point between 1984 and 1995, couldn’t it?

Thx for the info/images Nyx ;D.

  • PrinceHeir

Wouldn’t it be cool if DD was introduced through Sniper Wolf rather than being found in the wild 😛

    • César H. Sandoval

Wouldn’t it be cool if we were playing as the Real Big Boss instead of the fake one, you mean?

      Yes, it fucking would be!

      • stocchinet .

        It still hurt?

        • César H. Sandoval

You feel it too, don’t you?

I actually like Venom, and have make my peace with the “twist”… But I honestly believe even the “fake BB” could’ve been told way better for Kojima’s previous works… if they were not gonna do a great execution on the switcharoo, I’d rather have the real deal no matter how generic.

          • Full Options

Ok, but remember the studio was in serious mess, apparently… Like all we wanted, literally dynamited from the inside… 🙁

      • Full Options

Man, come on, it is just like like complaining about playin Raiden instead of Snake in MGS2 !? Now we love Raiden too and I love this random medic as well !? xD

        • César H. Sandoval

I think the Raiden twist was executed a lot better than Venom’s IMHO but you are right, it’s water under the bridge now…

          • Full Options

Yeah, Raiden was pure Koji-Ruse ;D What happened in March (or February) was likely forced ruse… 🙁 I can not accept that the last top-notch franchise (for me) is endin up like that. Although he made it through 28 years so since he deserve a specific section for that in the Guinness book, I may not complain further (my heart still do).

          • César H. Sandoval

The “V” ruse was predictable, he played the marketing too much on the “Everything is a lie” angle, Raiden was kept secret until release, they even swapped models to make sure no one suspected a damn thing. Kojima played this one a bit to obvious.

          • Full Options

Okay, as a casual addict (beneath appearances), I feel him more like a game dev, shot in the legs where he was about to deliver the dream of a game dev. He is a true artist in a totally new field. Japanese teams can polish things with restricted staff because with bigger staff, you are hardly everywhere, but the product look more original if you manage to (he always did). I want KP super-stars not split where we can not find them as a team.

          • Lewis

Kojima is a very bad writer. Very. Bad. But, he is a great game designer. V would be so much better, if they hired someone with at least decent writing skills.

          • Lewis

Ah, we are in the gif territory now. How predictable.

          • XOF

            he’s only joking i think … lol

          • Gatsu

I don’t think he’s very bad. Also those who always talk about getting Fukushima back as a writer, is it known how much he wrote of the games in the past?

They wrote MGS1-3 together after all, if I remember correctly.

          • Lewis

I played MGS games later, than 1-3 were realeased (because reasons), and I remeber having mixed feelings about them. MGS1 was mostly good, but the twist about the PAL-key was really bad. MGS2 was complex and interesting…but then we had Fatman and Fortune. MGS3 overall story was great and all…but then I remember meowing Ocelot and Mr. “Kuwabara” Volgin (and I’m from Russia, so add all those idiotic Russian moments). I think Kojima always wanted easter eggs, style-over-substance moments, and other people had to water it down to not be insane. And the fact that he never planned future MG and still made them – that’s how we get MGSV, where the story is just not relevant. Take MGSV’s story out of the timeline – nothing happens. It’s not bad, and it’s still present – but it SO HARD to give a fuck about everything, that happens in this game. Heuy is a miserable fucktard? It changes nothing – Otacon is still a good guy. Ocelot is non-existant. Try now: replace Ocelot with…mmm…for example a high-ranking soldier with a balaclava. What does it change? 1 cutscene about holding a gun. Great. Quiet drops in – Quiet drops out. D-Dog? Just a tool. Miller? The aticiapted fallout between him and BB? FUCK YOU, MR. FAN, 1 dialog without animation. Yound Liquid? I’M NOT LIKE YOU, I’M COOL AND I HATE YOU (typical 12 yo kid, that’s why I play MGS). When I think about MGSV and it’s story, I immediately have Tenth Doctor’s words to the Master echoing in my head: “You could be so much more.”.

          • MGSV is first of all a character driven story and that is important. There are cassette tapes with Zero for example that matter (and makes sense too) a lot for the franchise.
With the same opinion we can say that you can take MGS3 story out of the timeline – nothing happens. No one asked Kojima to make a Cold War setting to begin with and explain things about Big Boss and create new characters. You could basically end everything with MGS4, really.
Ocelot is important. Ocelot saved Venom’s and Big Boss’s life to begin with, I can continue… but I see no reason in that.
MGSV story that was driven by it’s dark themes was awesome.

P.S. Btw, I’m also Russian and no, there are no dumb moments. If you are referring “dumb moments” to crocodiles, Syberia/jungle setting then no, you clearly don’t understand the idea behind it’s game that was inspired by James Bond movies.

Everything else you wrote is irrelevant. Kojima is an excellent writer and designer.

Pardon, he is not just an excellent writer, he is the best videogame storyteller ever in existence and thank god we have him in this industry.

          • Lewis

Characters with no character, yeah. All of Ocelot “importance” is shoved down in one cutscene. I didn’t buy this game to see such a fun character go to waste. I can continue…but I see no reason in that.

So one cheese justifies another? So why no bears and vodka? This is ridiculous, but if you like it – your choice.

Best storyteller? Well, okay. Now I see we have very different opinions on storytelling, so we better stop this discussion, so noone gets hurt.

          • There are characters. About Ocelot. Ocelot is an interesting character in MGSV. He was too much in previous games and he was awesome and evil at the same time. This time around they tried to make him as your support and in my opinion they succeed in that.

“So why no bears and vodka?”

Because this is going to be over the top obviously. That’s why you don’t see that in MGS3. There are minor things that makes Soviet Base/territory more interesting and silly, even if that makes a bit untrue about them. Historical facts about Soviet Union and Cold War in general are absolutely correct in this game. Do you know that even Russians in this game speak english language without the russian stupid accent? It is because everyone is equal in this game. There are small touches that makes Russians look great in it.

Yes, he is The Best VideoGame Storyteller. No one will fight here, Discussion is always great. If you think that Kojima is not a good writer, I think you should rethink your statement: http://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/132327/the_gamasutra_20_top_game_writers.php?print=1

          • Lewis

Saw there Ken Levin and Drew Karpyshyn. Okay. I’m out. I’m really out. Nothing to do here.

          • XOF

“Laugghhh! … and grow fat! ” lol love this line despite it being so hammy.

If you had mixed feelings about past mgs stories and didn’t like Kojima’s writing from past games were you really expecting a super cool story from MGSV??

          • Lewis

Yeah, it was really good, very authentic. Much better than Battlefield 4 did it. 😀

          • FMercenary

One thing I did not like about MGSV was Eli’s(Liquid’s) “relationship” with Big Boss. So basically Eli curses his own fate, meaning he turns out bad out of negligence and out of his own free will(blind hate), so Big Boss never was a direct jerk to him as he stated in MGS1. Sometimes I wonder if they were trying to go all out of their way to not tarnish Big Boss'(Snake’s) image in any way, since he’s become an icon(brand) that’s worth $$$(Konami’s doing?). I don’t know; tinfoil hat argument that last bit.

          • Lewis

Or maybe they didn’t care for any previous instalments and decided to retcon everything. Who knows.

          • Full Options

Kojima have awesome ideas and present them like this on purpose. It is clear he is actually playing a lot with improvising many things, he appear to have a lot of fun doing so :D. I am sure he does that to show that somehow things don’t necessarily need to be too hardly planned to be fun. Some part can appear clumsy to some people whereas others will laugh their .ss off. He must include as much as possible different pitches so a maximum can identify him/herself at some point.

MGS2 was very long and extremely complex and I really appreciated how well documented the details were.

It is also this kind of freedom allowing him to deliver very entertaining interactive twists and also part of why we appreciate a lot his own touch besides his efforts to innovate in the gameplay field. His story-telling should not be evaluated like conventionnal novel writing neither first because he is in a field where the public interact with the story and second because there are fortunately no established rules, so another reason to take life easier / in a more fun manner.

Through his jester actions, he demonstrate the real infinite level of freedom we can have when we create stories.

I don’t want to raise false hope or stuff like that but the article ends up with “My personal guess is that really, they wanted to release it later as DLC, or something like that.” and look wut Kojima just twitted !
Hideo knows how the fans could receive such hint !?

    😀 Guys, I hope !

No way ! xDxD I can’t believe they kept this shot !? Wait, I did not watched it yet, but maybe the guy is spying on James ??

      • XOF

if the guy was spying on James, he’s not doing a very good job of it sweeping the air with his broom. 😛 lol

        • Full Options

Right, xD James is not looking at him anymore, but that’s definitely not a reason to nuts clean up like that… 😀 Specially for a spy supposed to keep an eye on a MI6’s 007 agent !? xDxD THX for sharing anyways.

    • Spectralbuttplug

      Haha

    • Gatsu

Rofl, what the heck xD ?…

I haven’t seen it yet, but that is hilarious haha!

    • Ishmael

this scene is from from quantum of solace and not from spectre. it’s directed by mark foster, not sam mendes. just to keep things right here. i saw spectre 2 weeks ago and honestly: it’s a disappointment. it’s not as worse as quantum of solace was, but it’s surely not better then skyfall.

      • XOF

Lol yeah, my mistake. I haven’t seen Spectre yet ….
Quantum of Solace was the worst one for me too. Casino Royale is my favourite. 🙂

        • Ishmael

mine as well. casino royale was fantastic. it made want to learn how to play poker. eva green was gorgeous in it, mads mikkelsen was a fantastic antagonist and daniel craig made a damn fine debut as 007. seems like the first movie with a new bond is always my favorite, it’s been the same with pierce brosnan and golden eye, i fucking love that movie!

  • MichaelPayneV

Wow, i have been gone for a while, actually playing TPP.
Well, i’m back, with lots of free time to spend on this website, and a new updated profile picture!

Now back to the topic, MGS, i’m actually excited about a the new Metal Gear Series, because i always wanted to see how someone else’s vision of Metal Gear would be, HELL, if Konami will give a sh*t about it, and choose some great story tellers and Game developers like Rocksteady, in my oppinion it could even turn out better than Kojima’s take, and this is a Hideo Kojima Fan first speaking, then a Meatl Gear Fan, and i would love to see where this goes, especially since the actuall TPP ending is the best start for a Reboot, since it basically ends where everything started.

I don’t think that we need to know exactly what happened between MGSV and MG1, plus i always considered the Solid Snake and Big Boss Saga to be 2 separate timelines, Solid Snake Saga being the great SF Story, every SS Game beign set in the future of its actuall year release, while BB Saga being a possible Origin Story for SS Saga, like a Prequel Reboot for the Metal Gear Series, and the new Series to basically be the actuall Reboot of the SS Snake, Reboot made possible by the BB Saga!

Now, what do you think, would you like to see someone elses take on MGS, do you think my theory makes any sense?

Glad to be back, i missed you all!

    • Gatsu

Heyyyyy welcome back Mikey 🙂 !

I don’t know 100% yet what to think about if they really do a new MG without Kojima and folks. I guess a part of me would be interested in it, but then again I can’t forgive Konami for what they did to my feels, so I dunno :P.

There’s not much left to tell in MG saga with many new games, unless they come up with something really good. One I’d like to see is Metal Gear 1-2 with new tech, but I’ll be okey if it never happen in my life lol.

      • Full Options

Yes, MGS2 with higher quality meshes and V’s FoxEngine actual snapshot would be just pure dynamite !

        • MichaelPayneV

          MGS2 is already a masterpiece!

          • Full Options

Correct, a true pure piece of awesomeness concentrate (;D), however MGS3 so much improved the gameplay that I feel a little narrow back in MGS2’s, like a little miserable spoiled child, needing to rotate cameras everywhere.. xD The tanker was awesome, the plateforms, Fortune and my beloved Arsenal Gear stages… Whooo…After buying the HD Col to help me wait for V, the only one left for me to revisit in HD is MGS2 (yuuummyy it is not over yet, xD), but be sure I’ll check it again soon in HD, and will carefully enjoy every single second, even with the old gameplay !! 😀

      • MichaelPayneV

Which is why i said that the best take for the New series would be good would be a Reboot of Solid Saga, or focusing more on Solidus between MGSV and MGS2, and Eli’s/Liquid Story between TPP and MGS1, basically an Origin Sory for him and Psycho Mantis, kinda like a “Snake Eater 2” showing us why Liquid is like that!

      • MichaelPayneV

PS: What do you think of Fallout 4? So far i love it, even did my best at making Bruce aka Ash from the Evil Dead series!

        • Gatsu

I love it :), played about 30h with my a female character. I’ve only explored maybe 1/4 of the map so far lol, soo much to do and building settlements is a lot of fun :D.

        • Full Options

Bruce Campbell is awesome, do you know he was not only acting but as well working on make-up for Evil dead ? The budget was also sooo minimalist for such a final perfect rendering 😀 Some artists are so complete !

        • Gray Lion

If you enjoy Evil Dead you might wanna check out Ash VS Evil Dead tv series. It’s pretty groovy so far. And Mr. Campbell is reprising his role as Ash X3

    • Full Options

Cool to see you around Mike. Regarding your question, it would be worth to figure out what is exactly happening to Koji-Pro staff now. How many left there, their respective roles… I am sure Konami can do something cool (despite the fact I am actually mad too at them), but it is going to be hard for them to be on par with the Koji-vision / volume, ambition. Let’s hope they won’t spit in the soup and plug some top-fans on it.

    • Spectralbuttplug

Howdy,Alexandre (if that’s how your name is spelled)

      • MichaelPayneV

Just Alex, to make it easier.

        • Spectralbuttplug

          Okay

        • Spectralbuttplug

Is that you?If yes then you have certainly changed my friend…….Euhm I mean dude

    • moto hellogoto

I think the whole series needs a reboot. It has become so convoluted. I really have no more interest in the story that Kojima made. It’s become a huge mess that should be wiped off of the table. A reboot could breathe new life into MGS, which it desperately needs.

    Hey guys.How are you?

A few days ago,I played V again.I decided to do some side ops and then get to the main ones.I chose “Extract Highly Skilled Soldier 16”.I went to the mission area and started to scan the soldiers and then I encountered this guy:
    http://8pic.ir/images/8a39pjkhbapy9v6rclfh.jpg
He’s really skilled.I thought:Yeah,I can’t wait to see the target guy.I found the target and he was this:
    http://8pic.ir/images/xnyykzj1cdfw0isd8tkg.jpg
I mean, the first one is clearly more skilled than the second. Why the second guy is the target?
The funny thing is almost all missions are like this, and the second funny thing is this game is a nominee for the GOTY awards, lol.

I took some other game ruining pictures!!! Will share it with you guys.

    • Jav

The first guy is a boaster, so those are not his real skills. (I think)

    • Full Options

      Fine Venom, and ya !?

Look, I think V has its chances for GOTY because even if people are disappointed on various aspects like story for most of them, this new MG is rock-stable and driving me totally orgasmic every single time I load it. There are some imperfections, but I never played something that smooth and that thoroughly optimized. On a pure gamin POV, the dev award at least. For GOTY, if they don’t or can’t give him, ok, but for me, you stabilize something new, you deserve it as well. Since GZ, I am so happy !

  • ScarredBushido

    man those eyes….so goddam sexy

  • Gray Lion

Would buy it… But I am still saving up to buy that Sylvia Christel PVC statue from No More Heroes 2, so… XD
