Metal Gear Solid enters the Time 100 Greatest Video Games list

Time published a list on their website of what they feel are the 100 greatest video games of all time. Readers can vote wether they agree or disagree with the picks. Among them is also Metal Gear Solid.

Time feels the first 3D installment of the series took the stealth action genre mainstream, and praise the fact that instead of making as many kills as possible, ‘the players guided Snake through sophisticated environments employing stealth tactics, avoiding the game’s hallmark “Game Over” screen by staying out of sight entirely’.
