Ever wanted to know what it’s like to sneak your way through an enemy base like Solid Snake? Now you can.
Konami and Tokyo Mystery Circus are organizing a real life Metal Gear Solid infiltration game, in the Tokyo Mystery Circus facility in Kabukicho, Japan. In it, players can experience what it’s like to step into the shoes of Solid Snake himself and infiltrate a facility with the goal of destroying the secret weapon, Metal Gear. Participants will need to sneak past guards (and hold them up), avoid obstacles and more to achieve their goal.
The time limit is 15 to 45 minutes, but you will lose time if you get hit by a guard, and you’ll also be able to extend your time by paying an additional fee.
Tickets for the event are ¥3800, and there’s also the option of purchasing pairs of tickets for teams at a discount, as the game can be played with up to 3 people. The event will start September 12th. For more information, check out the official website.
