New Metal Gear Rising merchandise revealed, info on the watch and promotion plans

At the moment there is a Metal Gear Rising Revengeance press event being held in the US. Some more information on promotional items for both the US and Japan has been revealed.

Kojima posted a photo on his Twitter of two more Metal Gear Rising promotional items: a belt and a dog tag. Both will be available in the US.

The Metal Gear Solid Rising Revengeance Wired watch (in collaboration with Seiko) that was announced a while back is now available for pre-order at the Konami Style Store, at a price of 36,750 yen (about $446). It will be released in mid-February. The watch will be sold in limited quantities (it will be numbered), and is also worn by Raiden in the game.

On December 15 and 16, fans can go to one of five stores in different cities in Japan to play the demo of Metal Gear Rising. Those who do so will receive a special brochure, and among those who pre-ordered the game and who are successful in the demo 30 special t-shirts will be given away (both the brochure and the t-shirt are the same as those that were given away at TGS).

The exact stores that participate in the action, as well as further information, can be found here.
