Kojima: Metal Gear Solid V should look even better on the next gen

During the E3, Kojima said in an interview with Polygon that the studio is aiming for a game that looks a lot better than what they showed this week.

“While we were developing on current-gen, next-gen came long. We’re really trying to reach the peak of the current generation right now — 360, PS3 — and then see how much we can take it up for the next-generation.”

“Once we start going into development for next-generation we’re definitely looking for something better than we have shown today.” Kojima said, talking about the E3 trailer.

Kojima Productions is aiming for a higher resolution and a framerate of 60 FPS for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions. There are also plans for giving the player he ability to use their smartphone or tablet, but how exactly that will work is not clear yet.
