The online mode in MGSV will work hand in hand with the singleplayer

The new Metal Gear Online game will come with Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and is currently in development in conjunction with the new Kojima Productions Los Angeles studio. This was announced on the Kojima Productions Alert 4, the official podcast of the studio.

“There’s a lot of interaction going on to make sure that the online portion works hand in hand with the singleplayer option.” KP podcast host Sean Eyestone explained. “And it really comes together as a nice, coherent whole.”

More details will be announced later.

I don’t want more co-op, I want proper MGO. Why couldn’t they keep up MGO2 until they released MGO3, I paid for so many expansions, ugh.

They didn’t say it would be co-op, but it’s possible. So far the game hasn’t been presented as a co-op game though, as Peace Walker was.

I would really love the MP to be like the one in Peace Walker. It is awesome playing with a friend (or my brother) through the missions.

Imagine a sneaking mission with a friend in an open world! Man, it would be awesome because actions would have to be much more calculated than the sneaking missions in PW.

I’d love to see a co-op campaign like Splinter Cell only Metal Gear style. Plus a full fledged multiplayer mode. How cool would it be if there were co-op missions that told a side story. Say…like Gray Fox protecting Boss while he is in a coma. Or even a very fox side story of his own. Maybe a flash forward playing as Solid and someone else to take down Big Boss? I don’t know …..ANYTHING will do!

i want more single player modes for multiplayer.

like Portable Ops+ or even VR Missions or mini games like Snake vs Ape Escape
