The word is finally out: Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will launch January 9 on PC. Amazon is now taking pre-orders for this brand new version of the game, selling the game for $29.99.
The PC version will include the additional DLC missions (VR Missions, Jetstream Sam and Blade Wolf), as well as the character armors (Inferno Armor, White Armor and Commando Armor), and the Gray Fox skin. So in other words, you get the complete package.
Some new options are added as well:
“CUTSCENES” added to the Main Menu. Play any and all cutscenes.
“CODECS” added to the Main Menu. Play all and any codec conversation scenes.
Added to the CHAPTER Menu the Boss Stage, enabling to play only the Boss battles.
“GRAPHIC OPTIONS” added to the OPTIONS Menu. Modify resolution, anti-aliasing, etc. There is an option reading “ZANGEKI” that will modify the amount of cuts you can make.

On PC, the game will only be available as a download via Steam.
Attention! It looks like Amazon and Steam will have a pre-order deal tomorrow. A Konami representative on NeoGAF posted:
“At 10AM PST, tomorrow, the game will be listed on Steam for an introductory price of $19.99, which will last a scant 48 hours before it goes to a slightly lesser sale of -20% until it launches on January 9th.”
So be sure to pre-order quickly starting tomorrow if you’re planning to get this version.
