Textures look exactly like the one’s in PS4 Ground Zeroes. Draw distance is good but the recent gameplay video showed the PS4 Draw Distance which was superb as well and that was on a decently large open world map.

i want a game that consist in infiltrate an enemy base, as a member of a force operation unit called “number 8 production” and the mission is to retrieve the Metal Franchise and take it away from Konami… and plant a virus like in MGS2 or something.

Some of those images (4,5 and 6 in particular) look like they could be co-op, but the official MGO Twitter has been quick to debunk those rumours immediately.
But then again, MGO has nothing tying it directly to TPP itself, and considering FOB’s and all of that is separate from MGO…why would MGO have anything to do with TPP’s potential Co-op? 😉

They confirmed that at E3. It’s just like Peace Walker where you can complete some missions with other soldiers.
I really hope you can use your custom online character in the story mode for side missions.
If you can, that won’t happen until Oct 6th though.
I think that the short haired solider is either your MGO character or at some point Big Boss gets his hair cut and we can choose to ‘equip’ it.

Is this mother base battle? Many said that mother base can be attacked by others online, so it can’t be attacked until mgo is released on October then?
MGO is a separate thing from MGSV:TPP I think some pics showed it was a different launch screen even. FOB infiltration is not MGO they said that many times. I think it’s safe to assume that Mother Base features will be online at game release.

So MGO is basically a multiplayer online team shooter deathmatch right?
I’d say it has more game modes than deathmatch(like any other MP) but yeah that’s the jest of it.
It is usually more creative and intuitive than that, but yeah basically, lol.
MGO will be a separate release from TPP’s FOB mode. The online component of mother base will be operational on release, but MGO is a separate game, and that is what is unlocking/releasing later.

Totally, that’s what it’s there for, add your MGI name platforms, and platform profile names, and send friend requests to those from MGI whom you would like to play with. Just make sure to let them know you are from MGI, lol.

First off i wanted to share with you guys that the new job is hard and also satisfying(my first love will always be the sea).
Ive herd many great news about MGSV,in last 7 days about PC player getting the same release date as the console players and unfortunate MGO 3 delay.And even more “rumors” about KONAMI-Kojima fiasco.
But ive also herd some bit unwelcoming news.
MGI,was always a place where you can brag and praise your specific gaming platform,but dissing others in the process was never welcome.Some people told me about console platforms dissing in the site,after the PC release date news came about,and i must say i tought they were bit exagerating.
After reading the comments in previus articles,i was frankly a bit surprised about indirect console bashing and the raise of PC agenda,not to mention to some stupid comments ive read.
And ofc,who is the head of all of this?My good ol friend MichaelPayneV…i leave MGI for 7 days and allready,you are already spewing BS as usual lol.From comments like “PC will have superior experiance cuz free mutliplayer” about the screenshots “Judging by the DOF and huge Draw Distance, I would say that this is PC!Even if Konami says is PS4, never forget, True Freedom is the freedom of saying 2+2=4, don’t let Big Brother (Konami) tell you otherwise.” about game development that obviusly Mike knows a lot about 😉 ” You will still have fun, but you can’t deny that the PC version allowed Hideo better Cinematography, just saying. “… FOX engine Mike,FOX engine…not the PC ….
not to mention the number of unecessary comments about “boosting” the console subscrition fee,as that was the reason why they put the PC release 2 weeks after in the first place.

PC elitism maybe? As a PC gamer, I know that PCs are not truly superior, and you should too. While better graphics are nice, they mean nothing if the drivers are bad (AMD users on Ground Zeroes) or the game is poorly optimized (Batman Arkham Knight). Don’t be offended by the “PC master race” crowd, especially since poor optimization completely kills even the mightiest rig.

He didnt say that you can see it in 4k ONLY,you can see it much clearer….also the model of the glasses and the game textures are not the same since this might be the final version,and ofc both images are compressed …he stated the following “Checking 4K, as look closer u can see the logo of MGSV TPP on the frame of KAZ GEAR, sunglasses wore by KAZ.”
Holly fukk, with the Lighting and rendering is so much better on PC.
i shall make that assessment when i actually see the final console version..but 4K is neat indeed
Also what i found interesting is that TPP unlike GZ, on PC is actualy bigger then the PS4 version, to be exactly 4 GB bigger, sond it looks like this may be due to possibly better texture and/or models, and this picture tells me that i might be right.
ahhh its just good optimization/compression….Witcher 3 was 50 GB on PS4,while PC version was 40GB…by your logic PS4 version would be MUCH better,instead we got pretty much the same game on all platform…aside from those damn engine bugs/issues
Which is why i found it further more interesting that the same Fox Engine that was 25% smaller on PC (GZ), is now actually bigger, the good compression/optimization, wich lead me to believe that the PC version may have uncompressed original scaled Textures, to further support the 4K Resolution.

I played Gz at 4k and is just breathtaking. Is no the same to watch on YouTube or look for some uncompressed pictures. Play at real 4k is way beyond pepole imagination; this is why some of them doesn’t see the difference all, but there is one thing mgsv tpp will be quite spectacular on pc:.. ” draw distance scale “.
Just thiking about 2x 3x double – triple vegetation – lod meshes – objects arrround the world. Everything We see on gz with a bigger scale. Actually I can confirm that vanilla Witcher 3 was 31 GB on the PS4.
thats the preload…PS4 version was 31 or 32 GB,while the PC version PRELOAD was like 26GB ….Uncompressed audio is what makes most of those 50+gig games big.
Uncompressed and pointless. Just like when PS3 games would be 36 gigs, and the Xbox 360 versions (which would most of the time look better) would fit on 1 disc.

A conversation I had on steam. Someone was talking about not buying TPP to punish Konami for their behavior. I am trying to make the point that buying the game DOES help Kojima because it shows that his projects sell well. The two points I have to make:
1: “I believe Kojima will venture into new territories. But he cannot do it alone. He will need investors and other partners to do anything. Good sales will help his reputation. My attitude is simple. Because I respect Kojima so much and no longer love Konami, I will but this game and enjoy it knowing that it is the last Kojima Metal Gear and the last Konami game I ever buy.”
2: “I understand what you are trying to say. That this whole thing could have been avoided had they not mistreated Kojima in the first place. But they did, and now they lost the respect of the fans. Notice how Kojima has been handling the whole thing like a professional? He is going to leave Konami in the proper professional way and his game is going to sell well. There is also the possibility that no one thinks of, and that is that maybe Hideo wanted his name removed due to the controversial topics of TPP, to distance himself as much as possible.

Really like graphics. KojiPro did big work and definitely made right decisions after release of Ground Zeroes. TPP is best example of ideal balance of perfomance, graphics, sound, music, story and gameplay.
