Troy Baker and Emily O’Brien are working on Death Stranding

Kojima is currently in Los Angeles shooting scenes for Death Stranding along with Norman Reedus. Today, two new actors confirmed their involvement via an Instagram post. The first is Troy Baker, one of the most prolific actors in video games and also the guy who played Ocelot in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The second is a female actress called Emily O’Brien, known from her work on movies and on videogames such as Final Fantasy, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and The Order: 1886.

Emily O’Brien on Instagram: “Honored to be working alongside these two fine lads on @hideo_kojima ‘s new project Death Stranding. I’m a lucky gal ;)”

The post was later deleted, but it seems like Kojima decided that now that the cat’s out of the bag, he might as well go along with it, as he has shared the following picture.

Kojima has been in the studio for the past few days, and he shared some pictures of shooting sessions with Norman Reedus. Several props can be seen as well, such as a replica of the baby tube and a lifesize dummy. They are also using what Kojima calls a ‘state of the art head mounted camera’ for the performance capture sessions.
