Official art book for Death Stranding announced

Death Stranding will be getting an official art book, Kojima Productions announced. Titled The Art of Death Stranding, the hardcover book will be available in January of 2020 and will be published by Titan Books.

Kojima Productions writes:

Proud to announce the official art book for DEATH STRANDING: The Art of DEATH STRANDING! Published by Titan Books, this beautiful hardback will feature hundreds of pieces of concept art & early ideas for the characters, equipment, locations and more.

Update: Forbidden Planet has opened pre-orders for the book, releasing November 12th for £25.99.

From legendary game creator Hideo Kojima comes an all-new, genre-defying experience for the PlayStation 4.

The Art of Death Stranding is packed with hundreds of pieces of concept art for the characters, equipment, locations and creatures featured in the game, as well as early and unused concepts, including artwork by acclaimed artist Yoji Shinkawa.

“This book covers insight to elements in Death Stranding, along with how some concepts gradually evolved from inception. Consider this another view of the world of Death Stranding.”

Update 2: the book is now available for pre-order on Amazon.

Update 3: Titan Books has announced that the release date has been moved to January 7th 2020.

Update 4: It seems that the release date has been pushed back even further, to January 28th of 2020.
