Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 debuts at No. 4 in the UK

Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 was released last week on October 24, and we now have an early look at the sales results. In the UK, the game debuted at No.4 in the physical video game charts, making it the highest charting new release of the week. According to Push Square, the PS5 version accounted for nearly three quarters of the copies sold. Keep in mind, as this is retail only, digital sales aren’t counted in these charts.

Update 3, January 15: According to GI.biz’ Christopher Dring, the Master Collection came in at No. 180 for the entirety of 2023 in the UK.

Update 2, November 17: Looking at the entire month of October, the game entered the charts at No. 11 (digital) and No. 15 (physical).

Update 1, November 7: In its second week, the game fell to No. 30 following a 85% drop.

Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 marks the first physical release in the series since Survive in 2018. That game debuted at No. 6 in the UK.
