A close look at First 4 Figures’ highly detailed Psycho Mantis statue, available for pre-order now

First 4 Figures, a manufacturer of high-end collectible figures based on gaming and anime franchises, has just opened pre-orders for their second statue in the Metal Gear Solid line, Psycho Mantis. They have also issued a host of high quality images that provide a detailed look at the figure. The statue shows Mantis during the battle taking place at the Commander’s Room, and his powers are represented by floating books with messed up pages and a rippling effects across the floor. There will be three versions available, a Regular Edition, an Exclusive Edition that comes with an extra (unmasked) head, and an Optic Camouflage Edition. Lastly, there will be a bundle that includes both the normal and the camouflage edition.

The first statue in the Metal Gear Solid line by First 4 Figures was Solid Snake himself, which you can check out here. That statue is slated for release later this year. Their next Metal Gear Solid statue will be Gray Fox, as indicated by the teaser shown earlier this week.

The Psycho Mantis statue is estimated to launch in Q3 2019.
