Metal Gear Rising out now in the United States

Announced in 2009, nearly cancelled in 2010, and rebooted in 2011, Metal Gear Rising Revengeance has had a turbulent development process. But, going by Kojima’s words at the finish, it’s turned out to be just like the developers intended.

Today (February 19th 2013) sees the release of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance in the United States. Customers can choose between a collector’s edition, that comes with a special plasma lamp, or the regular version.

     

GameStop has several pre-order bonuses, such as the Gray Fox skin and an art book, and a midnight launch in LA which will also be attended by producers Yuji Korekado and Atsushi Inaba.
