Kojima checking MGS Ground Zeroes English version and new interface photo
Today Kojima continued doing checks for Metal Gear Solid V. He also commented some more on the music importing feature, and how you can listen to music of your choice whenever you want to, and mentioning his own music of choice.
“Snake in GZ always carries “Walkman”. You can listen to any song you like with it during the mission or even on the helicopter. I think 007 ‘s theme of Bond (arranged by MOBY) & “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” theme fit well when sneaking in. I unexpectedly cried over Adel’s “Skyfall” when rescuing.”
This time Kojima checked the English version of the game as well.
“Checking & adjusting English version today.”
Kojima even continued checking while he was eating.

I unexpectedly cried over Adel’s “Skyfall” when rescuing.” i can´t believe his passion, thats why the mgs games are so good, he put himself inside the skin of a fan and give us not what we want, but what we need!
With all due respect, kojima-san,but I don’t think that the skyfall theme was composed to hit an emotional tone but was rather composed to sound as a orchestra of epicness.
Kaz rescue scene in E3 trailer was also very emotional and was accompanied by epic theme too, so idk what you mean…

Okay, I assume that you’re familiar with Adele’s skyfall, that song has a vast rythm from beginning to end and it never takes a different pace.”The sins of the father” however, had a small part that had a emotional tone by dropping the pace and sounding less bombastic in comparison to the overall song (as you can hear when Snake meets kaz in Afghanistan and bear in mind that the e3 trailer had two ost’s mixed together)

i would put Video Game OST like Deus Ex HR, older MGS Games, AC!D Games, and even 24 OST if i can XD
I love the concept behind the option, but I’m not planning to import soundtracks at all.
Maybe I lack imagination or a good taste for music, but I’m sticking with mgs V ost’s.

Maybe I’ll get my hands on the ost cd of mgs v, download the sins of the father on my phone,use the “WUWOOOH,WUWOOOH” as my ringtone,download the ringtone to my pc, place the ringtone on the mgs v disc and use Donna’s incredibly talented voice as my helicopter extraction sound.

I wonder how this will work on next-gen consoles (since apparently we cannot import mp3s on them)

I knew the music device was Walkman! I just knew there was no alternative! Interesting how he has that puppet hanging right in view of the picture, like it’s watching you. Those snacks he has look good- I want them. Can’t believe Kojima cried; be strong Kojima-san, we need you.
Kojima has a great taste of music, even better to what I listen to. But I like how we can import music when we are playing the game.
Edit: If some of you wanted to know what kind of music that I normally listen to when I’m playing a game, it’s Electro, House, Dubstep, Metal, Electro House, Pop, Hip Hop and Electronic
Same sort of issue over here! And that’s also the reason why I mentioned that I might lack some imagination. I mean, I wouldn’t even come up with the idea to play the jaws theme when snake starts to run.
I used to watch Jaws, that use to give me nightmares when I sleep lol
Don’t you dare to import the exorcist theme on your mgs gz copy! I saw that movie as a kid and regan’s face still creeps the hell out of me to this day!
Don’t remind me of The Exorcist! That movie gives me a weak stomach and makes me want to go to the toilet. That was the scariest movie that I had watched
