Kojima doing voice recording and interview shooting
Today on Twitter, Kojima posted some photos of an interview shoot and voice recording.
“Interview.”
“We call it an interview but it actually is a shooting.”
“For some reason, voice recording too.”
It’s all very vague what this is about, when Kojima did some voice recording a few months ago it was for his cameo in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. It could be that this has something to do with another cameo in The Phantom Pain, although the supposed interview doesn’t really add up. Maybe it’s for a making of video?
Then there also was this photo:
“System update.”
We can see a limited edition Metal Gear Rising PlayStation 3 inside an Outer Heaven carrying bag. A new piece of merchandise? Maybe to be sold at the Konami Style Store at some point? Kojima didn’t give any more information, however, so what this is all about remains to be seen.

I hope they make a Shinkawa art PS4 and place it on the glass reflection part of the PS4.

The FOX PS4 was designed by Shinkawa. Though you probably mean an actual drawing by him.

Was a bit disappointed when I didn’t get the alternative cover art for Ground Zeroes. Pre-ordered a PS4 limited edition copy as well, but I live in Australia so we missed out. 🙁
Seems there is no alternate cover for the whole PAL region. Here in Europe as well.
What a pity, I’m sure there are heaps of fans such as ourselves who love Shinkawa’s work and missed out.

The Rising Edition PS3 was released in Japan back when the game came out. Maybe it’s just on the photo to show off the bag?
