Kojima: I shall only look forward doing my best
Kojima has made no secret of the fact that he is a huge fan of the Mad Max movies, and the new one that just came out managed to surpass his expectations. Recently he praised the movie on Twitter, saying: “MAD MAX2 always ranked in top 5 of my life time, never thought any sequel will beat but that was a mistake. This one directed by George Miller had easily exceeded that masterpiece. This movie isn’t only for fans in old days but also for women who fight for freedom.” In another tweet he said: “Saw MADMAX:FURY ROAD on IMAX. I’ll go see everyday when its out. Cheers to MAXs not to run away but fight for future. What a lovely day.”
He has also mentioned before that MGSV was influenced by Mad Max 2, in the sense that the story is mostly told through the characters surrounding the protagonist, and the fact that the protagonist himself doesn’t have as much lines.
Today, Kojima met with George Miller, the director, and meeting with this creator he admired so much seems to have given him new energy.
“My maestro George Miller, a real passionate, full of talent creator. I shall only look forward doing my best. Thx.”
It looks like Miller’s passion has inspired Kojima as a creator. Currently he is in the process of putting the finishing touches on his most ambitious game yet, but we still don’t know what will happen after development wraps up, with strong rumors going around of Kojima leaving the company he has worked at for 30 years. Whatever the future brings, let’s hope he can continue to create with the same passion.

MGS is maybe the only game saga I have followed so excitedly since I was 10 years old, one of the rare series that brings me so much emotions and has given me lots of happy memories… Kojima-san if you read this, I want say domo arigatou!

I read everything till I reached the spoilers part. Is it really that big of a spoiler?
I have no idea but a few people who read it said it’s a light spoiler so yeah…
but the guy who leaked that info also said there are new screenshots in the magazine.

But they said it opens with Big Boss waking up from the coma. They didn’t say anything about the post-GZ hospital scene where you see both Kaz and BB in the emergency room. :S

Not really, it just tells you about the arrival of an enemy we already know about, nothing that will ruin the game for you 🙂

I’m not going to lie I’d love it if George Miller and Kojima came to some sort of arrangement where Kojima could make a Mad Max game on the condition that Miller is allowed to make a Metal Gear film xD

The well known bas-relief carving at the famous Angkor Wat temple in Cambodia relates the Hindu story of a serpent being pulled back and forth by 108 gods and asuras (demons), 54 gods pulling one way, and 54 asuras pulling the other, to churn the ocean of milk in order to produce the elixir of immortality. According to the Oriental Architecture site there are 5 monumental guardian gates to the fortified temple city of Angkor Thom. In front of each gate stand giant statues of 54 gods (to the left of the causeway) and 54 demons (to the right of the causeway) which represent the churning of the ocean.

A lot of information to be honest that we already knew from tweets. Xbox magazine did it poorly in my opinion.
Yes, the game is going to be great but telling us about Phantom Cigar from the last trailer or Bear that was from tweets is not that impressive for so much pages.
yes, there are some small little interesting details about Hospital scene and some really cool quotes from Ocelot/Big Boss… But…

It’s great to see a big and lovely smile from Kojima after the hellish events from the past couple of months. It sure will give him a spirit boost for this final phase. The Best truly is Yet to Come.
