Kojima Productions merchandise will be available for pre-order December 21st
The official Kojima Productions site has been updated with a first look at the merchandise that will be available on the store. People will be able to purchase the items starting December 1st, and according to Ken Imaizumi they will be shipped to ‘almost everywhere’ worldwide.
Update: Some more details have been released.
The following four products, scheduled to be available for preorder on (Mon) Dec. 21, will be packaged together in a single box and sold as a set.

I’m rather curious where they’ll take the franchise now…will prolly be another 3 years before we hear anything new about MGS i think or Konami will become the jap. EA and release MGS on a yearly circle.
I think they try to start up new MG and SH, but in the end they will probably realize it’s not gonna work. So they abandon them.

In Mission 1, Snake asked did they do something to his eyes. He answer, “just bright…that’s all”. Kaz maybe have it for long time when he used sunglasses in PW too. Maybe he can see but not so well, he seem to act in cutscenes as if he can see. He was also Solid’s trainer in the future.
during the first huey interrogation, it really looks like he’s eyeing huey’s glasses as he turns them over and over, and he often walks around without appearing to navigate via his cane… but then when the kids showed up on base he walked right the fuck into one so i dunno
Just like Gatsu said, I think he has bad eyesight. Not blind, but bad enough. He seems to be aware enough about his surrounding to no be completely blind, but some movements and no scenes with action or where prescision is requiered point to him having quite bad eyesight.

It made me feel really nostalgic. It make me remember the times when I was 10 and discovered MGS and all the years I enjoyed the fascinating stories. It’s hard to believe this is the end ;O. I’m forever grateful to Kojima-san for creating the saga and glad he could end it with such a good game. I’m lucky to have been able to follow the series since 1998, what a great journey… If it wasn’t for MGS1 and FF7, I might not be a gamer these days.

Its a good way to help him jump start the new studio. Currently they are only 4 people with no office and barely any concepts for a game.

I launched V just to see it, and I think it’s good. In-game challenges/achievements are really good, now you have SOME justification to hunting and doing other pointless stuff. An event with 300 personel is great, finally I get something for completing the missions and NOT grinding 2,5k people. And updated UI is really good in my opinion. To sum it up – glad as fuck. Now I might even do 100% and platinum.

As I live and breath I am alive, I amde it through Afgan and Africa, through hell and back, and I have the screenshots to prove it. Now that Kojima has re-surfaced so have I. These were taken by me on October 24 when I finished the game, but after playing a lot more FoBs and MGO, I have returned to united forefront know as the MGI website… I am back brothers and it’s great to be back!!!

Hey, I’m exactly 81% atm too! š
I really found 100% to be boring because of how SideOps worked (if I could get a new sideop after completing the previous one, and NOT go to ACC after 15 minutes of playing, that would be great), and hunting animals seemed like a lot more boring thing to do. But now they implemented challenges, so I think I might finally do it.
Nice :D! I rarely try get 100% in games :P. It’s taken a while for me because I like to enjoy progressing slowly and trying to play other games sometimes :). I think the MB sideops are nasty as hell and will leave them for last. Animals I have collected some, maybe 60% and I’ve started using the guide which helps nicely ;).
I love completing the Mission tasks and trying to get S ranks, it’s a good challenge . The update bringing lots of things like UI change, tasks, online deployment etc is really sweet ^_^. I wanna join brothers in the 100% group xD, I will make it!

Yeah, I really like, that they keep updating the single-player part! Would be suuuuuuper good, if they were to introduce events in singleplay, like a big outpost gets a big army, valuable npc and lots of resourses, but is really hard. And would even give money for a Camp Omega-like zone. For example there is a big camp, that has close spaces and tight guard, but it changes every week/month. That would be my dream.
I did S-ranks rather easily, that was a bit of a disappointment, cause you don’t need to be stealthy, you need to be fast. You can complete mission 30 in like 3-4 minutes, just riding on D-Walker right into the base. But I agree, Mission tasks are great and fun challenge (except those with animals and/or plants). Still have those to do. š
MB sideops are not that hard, I had just one trouble, I think it was R&D (not sure), it had such hidden targets, it became infuriating. But others were pretty simple. š
And animals…meh. Still hate it. Did all those important ones, like for Jehuty arm, etc. Others…well, it would take a while with me. š
Okey maybe I will give the MB sideops another try, target practice isn’t my speciality lol.
I was surprised how easy mission 45 was (all tasks ans s-rank) when using parasite suit and armor. Most annoying part was to find that leopard tortoise. -.-
I got my S-rank on my second attempt. Got really frustrated with tanks who one shot me, but everything else was a piece of cake! š

Yeah, not a fan of animal hunting in TPP using capture cages. I think it’s mainly because you can’t see all the animals in the open world … it would of been nice to see scorpions scurrying in the desert sand or a frog in the jungle/swamp.
Platinum trophy in Shadow of Mordor was very fun to me. There was almost no grinding and the whole path to platinum was the same as playing the game. You didn’t have to stop doing fun things to do boring things.
Walking dead season 1. You just play main story and suddenly.. wild platinum trophy appears. Wait what.

I’m wondering, will Kojima ever be free to talk about V in the future? It’s such a shame he can’t explain-comment the plans and ideas that drove him in his most ambitious project. I felt disappointed also after watching the behind the scene disc for the lack of insight on KP work.
He’s probably contractually gagged to reveal what went wrong, which makes thing a bit more difficult.

The soundtrack did feel gaudy in some scenes where it didn’t call for it, I think the problem was the music in the trailers portraying the film in a tone that it wasn’t going to adhere to. I was surprised by Kylo Ren at first but it fits his character, with him being on a power-trip and throwing tantrums and all, but maybe in the next films he might develop into a more menacing character. It’s also kinda funny that him and First Order came off as Darth Vader & the Empire fanboys, lol. Finn’s development felt a bit rushed when he was introduced, or at least his dialogue made it seem that way but he was an OK character. I think Leia could have been a little more vibrant and some characters were underused like Captain Phasma; I thought I was going to see her in battle but she was mainly eye candy. I liked Rey and Han, they were great. Overall, I liked “The Force Awakens” and think it’s good/OK, but was underwhelmed by the reiteration of ideas.
yeah i agree, it relies to much on nostalgia and plot points already seen, i really dislike kylo ren (though i love the look (WITH THE MASK ON)) but i also thing he can develop into an interesting character, though i would prefer for him not to be the main bad guy on the trilogy, there’s been rumours of Benicio del Toro playing a baddie on VIII i’m sure eventually one of the many bad guys will die giving the amount of them, hell, kylo might even changes sides somewhere down the line…
There are also a lot of other things we were very happy with, but we’ll share all this later too š

i’ve been thinking about what the new kojipro will bring to the table… of course there’s a lot of waiting ahead to even hear a glimpse about it but i would love for him to return to a cyberpunk themed game in the style of snatcher, but more action oriented
