My views:
1) A TPP surprise release date.
2) a GZ early release (in the following weeks).
3) David Hayter on GZ; Sutherland on TPP (I love both, but i want to see the transition between the two voices)
4) TPP will be $30 for all those who already have a copy of GZ (not worth the title “big announcement”).
5) Let’s just wait a few hours.

Don’t mention it! Figured there was some confusion as to whether or not this was a PS4 hardware-related announcement or a MGSV-related announcement. Also, he just posted on GAF:
“They (Sony) think this is going to be a really big deal for all PS4 fans out there, and they would really like you to see it as it goes live.”

Tora has corrected himself on that point: “To further clarify. We have something MGSV coming as part of the event
[OFFICIAL]. I thought that was what Kojima was Tweeting about. After
getting berated by some higher ups (read: beaten with 木刀) I can also confirm that the ‘shocking’ reveal for Sony may or may not be something different and completely unrelated.”
And to add to that, I’ve gathered from the NeoGaf thread that the shocking reveal is likely something non-Metal Gear related. Tora has confirmed that what is officially planned (for Metal Gear) is a trailer followed by an interview (with Geoff Keighley I infer). The trailer and interview will only deal with GZ. The interview, Tora says, will provide important context to the trailer and consequently he recommends watching it right after the trailer.
