Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.2 launches August 27

The second volume of the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection was finally revealed at PlayStation’s State of Play event on February 12. The bundle will contain three games: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (marking the first time the game will be available on any other platform than PS3), Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and Metal Gear: Ghost Babel, the 2D handheld game, which will be selectable in the Bonus Content section. Konami writes, via PlayStation Blog:

Each game includes a scenario book containing the text from the respective title, plus a master book offering detailed insights into the story and characters. The digital version of the Collection also includes Metal Gear Solid: Digital Soundtrack Vol.2, featuring numerous iconic tracks that enhanced Snake’s missions, ranging from BGM used in the games to vocal songs.

There will also be a pre-order bonus in the form of in-game items for MGS4 and Peace Walker:

• Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (HD Collection version) Bonus: Uniform:LOVE BOX

And if you have save data for Master Collection Volume 1, there are some additional bonuses:

• Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (HD Collection version) Bonus: Uniform:GOLD

The game is releasing on August 27, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 1 and 2 and PC.
