Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain coming in 2015
During the Vocation live event at Tokyo Game Show 2014, it has been confirmed by Kojima that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will release next year, in 2015. This goes for all platforms. Some had hoped the game would launch at the end of this year, but it seems that this is not the case, and fans will have to wait a little longer.
At this point a more precise release date has not been announced yet.

I’m so sad that I can’t play this masterpiece in 2014. I really wanted this to be my personal Christmas present. 🙁
But they have some time now to show us Metal Gear Online and it’s features. At least we know for sure that it is not coming in 2016 or 2017 O_o
On the other hand, it’s good they’re taking their time to make it perfect, instead of rushing it. And yeah, it was to be expected.

Oh, that’s….well, that’s that. I guess I can enjoy the rest of this year without obsessing about the release date to the point of a nervous breakdown. If anything Kojima might have a date or a month by the end of TGS, there’s still Friday, Saturday and Sunday events.
Ah, come on Kojima, we already knew that… “Spring” or “Summer” would have been nice.
Ok, that was to be expected. The good news is that they will not rush it in order to make Silent Hills.
I feel sorry for those people that got there hopes up for a 2014 release but I’m glad I kept thinking 2015 so it’s no surprise for me, though since he just said 2015 it makes me think the game could come out toward the end of next year and I’m not sure if I can wait for another full year I mean he shows us this amazing gameplay and expects us not to go insane waiting.

There was no doubt it was going to release next year otherwise we would have been given an exact date if it were this year to organize pre-orders, the hype train and whatnot.

Correct me if i’m wrong but I think there’s still another MGS V stage show and it’s looking like it might be a really big deal what with Kieffer Sutherland, Stefanie Joosten and other cast members appearing and all so we might get a month and maybe a day who knows.
You’re correct, I was speculating similar thing also. The time table showed last show on Sunday “additional MGSV info”. Maybe Kojima is like “Oh right, sorry fans I forgot to tell you the exact release date” XD, then we get day and month ;)…

I already told this many times that this game will released by next year. I’m guessing by Summer(June) like MGS4.

Just give us Ground Zeroes on steam before TPP is released and you will be forgiven for providing us with old news, Kojima. I don’t feel like a)playing GZ on PS3 or b) buying a PS4 for 1-3 games.
