MGS4 and Peace Walker delisted from PlayStation and Xbox stores
Earlier this week a user on Reddit discovered Konami has delisted Metal Gear Solid 4 and Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker from the PlayStation Store. Peace Walker has also been removed from the Xbox Store, the version from the HD Collection (which has been delisted on PlayStation as well).
The reason for this move is fairly obvious, as Konami has just announced the games are coming to modern platforms via the Master Collection Vol.2, although that bundle won’t be released until the end of August. It also means the older versions are no longer available for purchase, at least not digitally. Konami has not made an official statement on the matter.
