What’s interesting here is that they seem to be talking about the Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Premium Package (the PlayStation 4 version on this photo). Could they be discussing a possible European release?

ohh so Kojima had a hair cut huh?

btw is the Personal Assistant(PA?) Yumi Kikuchi?? oh it’s Ayako-san ๐Ÿ˜›

i wonder where she is? i hope she’s still at Kojima Productions. then again they already confirmed Dr Strangelove returning in MGSV so hope she return to voicing her as well ^^

    • Nyxus

Kojima’s PA is Ayako Terashima (I believe that’s her last name). I’m not sure what Yumi Kikuchi’s role is exactly, aside from motion capturing and voice acting, and having her face in MGS4.

      • PrinceHeir

she did the voice actor for Dr. Stangelove in the JPN version and they did confirm the character returning in one of his podcast.

she also sometimes act as Kojima’s assistant, especially during launch games of his main games where he travels alot.

though i did see her again in the 25th anniversary and she did say before the red trailer of MGSV that she cried seeing it first.

yeah it seems it is her real name, she seems the translator for Kojima-san.

        http://www.linkedin.com/pub/ayako-terashima/1b/875/37a

        • Nyxus

Yeah, she was also there at the MGS4 2008 World Tour together with Kojima and Shinkawa. Do you know if Ayako is the one who translates Kojima’s tweets for his English account?

          • PrinceHeir

not sure, but according to her linkendin profile she is a certified professional translator.

i would guess it’s probably her for sure, though sometimes Kojima does tweet something in english.

  • Sorahearts

I wonder if Kojima had a great day in London on Europe’s PS4 launch

      ๐Ÿ™‚

      • William of Orange

Looks like kojima has a new PA.

  • TheScienceEnthusiast1130

    AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    @Nyxus:disqus

    =D

  • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

That’s a great picture of that bridge at the bottom. Not to be naive, but where exactly is that bridge located, country wise and other details I should know?

    • Nyxus
      • William of Orange

        Tower bridge, to be precisely.

        • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

Ohh..that’s my bad. I’ve actually never been to see it so I didn’t know for sure where I’ve seen it before. Must be nice crossing that big bridge..wonder if it will appear in The Order: 1886, and since you do know the geography well I suppose, when the game comes out, you should play and record all the landmarks and locations you recognize and then tell us the accuracy of The Order: 1886’s environment to London itself, that is London in 1886.

          • Sorahearts

If London is in The Order: 1886 then the bridge will be in the game

            http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2013/41/1381254365-the-order-1886-game-informer.jpg

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

Ohh..right, of course. that makes sense. In fact, I want a new trailer for the game at VGX but am not sure if Geoff Keighley has debunked that or not. We’ll have to see. Also given that fact, how big is London that it may influence that actual length of the game, as no other areas have been confirmed as of yet and supposedly the city will be to scale as closely to the real city as possible? the length doesn’t matter to me, but it’s just a thought as this game is aiming really high for authenticity.

          • Sorahearts

I tried looking for a new trailer to that. And all I found was just the E3 trailer to it

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

oh well…the trailer debut at E3 was awesome nonetheless though. I hope that Ready at Dawn doesn’t make us wait until E3, as that’s too long for me.

          • Sorahearts

I only watched E3 because of FFXV and KH3

          • William of Orange

FF XV looks awsome! I’m not really familiar with the FF lore (only played crisis core, great game), because I’m not into jrpg’s but the game looks epic as hell! ( I would probably leave FF XV out of my game library as well)

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

Same here..even though it looks cool I probably won’t get as much out of it as Kingdom Hearts III, as I’ve already played a couple of the games, playing the first one right now on 1.5 HD ReMIX, and can’t wait for the cool game play and great story it will have. No doubt though that FF XV won’t disappoint.

          • William of Orange

Again, not a jrpg fan. I’ve played KH1 and 2 a couple of times and tried the KH 3D demo, but I’m kind of cultural savage when it comes down to my gamer’s taste. I at least tried to like pokemon,ff ,xenoblade ,etc. But I’m too impatient for the genre.
And the best written stories are feautured in rpg’s.

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

I think one of the reasons why some people never get into certain RPGs is because it takes just too much time to devote all your energy to understand the entire game, while a few keep it simple, like KH, so maybe if you play more you may grow to like it, like I grew to love Majora’s Mask, even though I hated the 3 day system initially. I myself am particularly picky when it comes to certain types of games and game mechanics but my tastes are varied so it doesn’t matter much as long as I have fun playing the game. I’ve actually never played Pokemon, wanna get Xenoblade Chronicles before I get X on Wii U next year, and find it satisfying when I get past a point and excel through the story to feel part of the adventure. And yeah, RPGs arguably have the highest pedigree when it comes to story, and FF AND KH are no exception-well the former won’t be an exception anymore when XV hits, that’s the hopeful result we want. In fact, I wanna play FF VII, I’m obsessed with getting my hands on that game.

          • William of Orange

I love LOTZ! I remember lotz II being rpg like, but it’s action adventure, right? Anyway, it’s good to know that you don’t judge me for being “different” ( I mean as a gamer).

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

I also love the Legend of Zelda franchise, and one of my favorites. You could say it’s actually ARPG as it got that genre off the ground and running, but really the game consists of many other elements from other genres but ARPG describes it best, but action/adventure comes close to also being a good description. Yeah, I don’t like judging other gamers and don’t want to. Every gamer can have their own tastes-except for mobile, I hate them.

          • William of Orange

Same here. If you play mobile games for the majority of the time, I will never take you seriously as a gamer.
BTW, I’m skipping Lotz: a link between worlds. I love the first zelda, but ‘a link to the past’ wasn’t really my cup of tea. I know, prejudices.

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

I’ll be getting A Link Between Worlds so I’ll let you know how similar it really is to ALTTP and if it’s worth it ๐Ÿ˜‰

          • William of Orange

            I appreciate it! ๐Ÿ™‚

          • Sorahearts

Crisis Core was a great game, and that had a sad ending. But I’m thinking which game is going to be better when they are released. Though I know that FFXV and KH3 will be better games because FFXV has been in development nearly 8 years and we’ve waited for KH3 before SE developed XV

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

I watched E3 for Sony and Nintendo, Microsoft wasn’t all that much hype for me as much as the former two.

          • Sorahearts

I only watched it for Sony because I wanted to see if Versus XIII(aka Final Fantasy XV) was going to be at E3. But until KH3 was announced, that had surprised me

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

Yeah, I had no idea KH III would be there at all, and have to say that that was the biggest surprise at E3, hands down. I watched Sony to hear more about PS4 and PS Vita and Nintendo for more on Wii U specifically, as 3DS they didn’t have much to announce on.

          • Sorahearts

I was hoping it would be, because of the secret ending and message in KH3D

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

yup. and also in a Gameinformer issue I read, Square Enix even said they may return the series to consoles. didn’t think much of it at the time when I first read that, but now I know they were hinting at the franchise’s return to home consoles. Wonder if we’ll ever play a game where Sora and everyone are actually adults instead of teenagers, though I doubt it. I actually like playing them the way they are, as we get too many games where we only play as adults and never explore any other dynamics like how The Last of Us switched between Joel and Ellie in the latter half, or quarter really, of the game, and felt great. Really added a whole new dimension to the experience when I got the chance to play Ellie, though Joel was also a great character.

          • Sorahearts

I heard that Sora will be mature in the game. And the thing is we won’t know how old he’ll be in KH3. I only knew he was 14 in KH1

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

Yeah, Tetsuya Nomura said now that he’s more mature and older, they will mature the game so that it resonates with the gamers who grew up with the franchise since the first game while also welcoming newcomers. I’d say he’ll be 17 in KH 3. Kids grow a lot in their teens so no doubt that some time has passed by but obviously not as long as people may think. Seems though it may not appear at VGX though.

          • Sorahearts

I was also thinking 17 too. Then I started thinking 18 or 19 because of the release year. 18 is 2015 and 19 is 2016

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

Well there’s been like what, 6 main games and others being remakes of them? So let’s say each game consists of 6 months gone by? So it would constitute 3 years of time gone by and at the beginning let’s say, he is 17 and at the end of the game, depending if Square Enix changes this pattern, he will still be 17 or jump ahead to 18 by the end and then the next game continues the pattern and he eventually becomes an adult. I have a bad feeling though that once Sora is an adult, or at least spends a few years as a young adult, Nomura may drop him, as he also said they wanna keep that Disney feel to it also and if they keep him on as an adult he may feel pressured to use mature themes that would tarnish the image of the two properties and therefore ruin KH, so don’t count on more than 3 or 4 games after KH III that include Sora as a playable character unless Nomura finds a creative and shrewd way to allow a more mature direction while still keeping to the core of the franchise.

          • Sorahearts

I’m starting to think that Nomura will drop him too when he starts making the series again. And we’ll more than likely to play as another character in the series, and Sora will more than likely support this character by helping him through out his battles against a new villian that won’t be Xehanort

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

Yeah, but in the case he does, he should give Sora complex emotions and other mind bending characteristics that attribute his place in the Keyblade Wars and conflict of his relationships with the likes of Roxas, Riku, Namine, and Kairi, so that he can not only grow as a character but grow with the audience in that way beyond just being an older person. I wouldn’t mind too much Sora ending up being a supporting character, but when he’s completely gone, you can count on me and everyone else being very pissed off about that, as Sora is just as human as the rest of us, even if he holds everyone else’ memories in the game and is only around for awhile longer.

          • Sorahearts

Sora does deserve some rest, because he actually hasn’t stopped fighting, up until he got home in KH2 and recieved a letter to say his journey was not over. Besides I wouldn’t mind Sora appearing as a supporting character in the series or just a guy that’s gived up fighting to be with his friends and family

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

yeah, he’s spent his youth fighting when he’s supposed to be having fun, but who said you can’t do both ๐Ÿ™‚ and yeah, Sora could be like this father figure to the new character that gives them advice and deepens the plot even further.

          • Sorahearts

I’d always think that if this new character will start fighting Sephiroth again like Sora did in KH1 and 2

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

            yeah, that would be nice.

          • Sorahearts

            And he’d still be hard

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

            NID

          • Sorahearts

            What’s NID?

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

            never in doubt

          • Sorahearts

Oh. I’d even battle Julius and Sephiroth in the series. I hope SE aren’t reading this and thinking “A battle against Julius and Sephiroth in the series? Interesting. All right guys, I know what to add in the series when we’ve finished developing Kingdom Hearts III”

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

yeah, multi boss battles would be awesome ๐Ÿ™‚

          • Sorahearts

Agreed. Btw I found this pic about what happened at UK’s PS4 launch date

            http://a.pomf.se/xe8cd.gif

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

LOL. I didn’t realize U.K. was even this much more hardcore about PS4 than the videos of France, Germany, and Austria getting PS4. I hope you weren’t in the destructive chaos of that crowd, or you weren’t even near to have witnessed it.

          • Sorahearts

I was there and there were a lot of people. I managed to get the console and some didn’t because there are people that can mug you or even murder you over one

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

Lucky you. Managed to survive the onslaught. Must have been lotto fun racing for it until people started getting hurt. I have never been at a midnight console launch so I don’t know what the excitement feels like but I hope to make it to the next console launch which won’t of course come for another 6 or 7 years. But yeah can never be sure if anyone is out to get you especially when it comes to getting video games.

          • Sorahearts

I didn’t even know what was happening. I just snatched mine quickly and got out of the store. I doubt there might have been a fight for PS4

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

Gotcha. Would’ve been a sight to see. You’re probably right. In this day and age gamers are more civilized at least picking up their consoles, most of the time, so if there was a quarrel it was minor and didn’t cause lotta damage or any at all. Interesting how North America wasn’t this excited like Europe.

          • Sorahearts

I’d probably get more excited when FFXV and KH3 come out at launch

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

            Exactly.

          • NintenScience
          • Janeo

I know I’m a bit late here but nomura already said that after kingdom hearts 3 future games will star sora

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

oh really? Awesome. thanks for the info.

          • Janeo

I’m not 100% sure but I remember hearing it I will try and find the interview and give you the link

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

            Will do.

          • William of Orange

Play zombi u, same location and in stores now

          • Sorahearts

I played that on Halloween and the bridge is in

          • William of Orange

Only played the demo, looked cool and felt a lot more realistic than l4d. I should buy that game

          • Sorahearts

It’s a really good game to play in the dark. I always play it on Halloween. That was the first horror game I played on and Dead Rising 2 was the second

          • William of Orange

We don’t celebrate Halloween in Holland (although the amount of participants grows by the year!), only played DR1, great game but wasn’t planning to buy DR2 when it came out.

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

I’ve never been to Holland. Was always interested in Dutch culture but have never been anywhere outside US and Canada. If I lived there, I’d intern at Guerrilla Games and be glad to work on Killzone and their new IP. If I’m not mistaken, no Xbox developers live in the Netherlands, as far as I’m aware of, but either way seems like an interesting place to live and would like to see it someday. And also hopefully play DR3, as it looked like a lot of fun, and never played the first two games.

          • William of Orange

I would love to give you guys a lecture about Holland kicking ass through history !(sadly, we got our asses kicked at sometimes too, but that’s not relevant, ugh, ugh)
Neh, Guerrilla games is since killzone 1 a first party developer for Sony (shellshock:’nam 67, don’t play it, it’s for the best).
Although I heard negative reviews about Killzone:SF, I’m still going for the ps4. But DR 3 looks amazing!

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

after playing Killzone 1, I don’t think I ever wanna play another PS2 era shooter, as playing through that game was like hell but was worth it in the end. All the Killzone games have actually scored as low as 70 and range all the way up to at least 9/10, so I think it’s up to your personal opinion how good the game is, although there are less A grades this time around for the game, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t a great entry in the series. And yeah DR3 looks awesome, but not a killer app for Xbox One if you ask me.

          • William of Orange

Killzone 2 was the best, all the other installments were average . God, it’s such a relief to tell this! KZ 2 did everything right: great MP, memorable villians and leveldesign, epic vibe, the graphics were amazing, enough variety to keep me entertained and it was the first game that highlighted the Dutch gaming industry. All the other installments felt like tech demo’s.the killzone series is known for being story driven and telling stories that uses events like WW 2 and the cold war as its source material. And that’s the downside, Killzone 3 made no sense!
The ISA won, but then it turns out that the helghast aren’t defeated yet, and we suddenly play a guerrilla warfare shooter!
No more Killzone, Guerrilla! More IP’s with awsome stories and I’m willing to help them if they can’t come up with one!

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

yeah, Killzone 2 is my favorite also. Great graphics, great game play, especially with weapons and enemy AI, sound design, and a story that really was exciting from start to finish. Loved the final boss, as it was intense and exhilarating, and was a promising challenge. And yeah, I thought KZ3 was a step backwards. Don’t worry though, after Shadow Fall, they’re devoting resources to a new IP, which most likely won’t be shown for another 2 years but will be worth the wait. Shadow Fall is I believe Cold War and when the Berlin Wall was still up in Germany.

          • Sorahearts

I was looking forward to buying Dead Rising 3, until I heard it was for Xbox one. So I’m going to buy Outlast on PS3 rather than buying DR3 since that is an Xbox game

          • William of Orange

Haha, will do! And I assume you’re fimiliar with the ac series?
Last year, I went to florence,Siena, pisa, the actual village were the auditore’s used to live (no mansion, though), Vinci and a bunch of other Italian city’s and this holiday, I went to America and canada and visited boston,ny,phillie,Washington (ac 3)!
            Is Florida present in ac4?

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

Yes, of course. Lucky you, I’ve never been to Europe in my life and only went to Canada once to see Niagara Falls. Went there during summer I think so I didn’t have to go through the cold ๐Ÿ™‚ Have never been to Boston, been to NY quite a few times but not enough to know the street names and all the locations but saw Mary Poppins at Broadway, unfortunately. and went to Philly a few times, to see Liberty Bell and other cool landmarks, which was fun, and I think went to Washington just once in my life, going to see the Lincoln Memorial, as part of a boy scouts trip. I’m very sure Florida is in AC4 , but haven’t gotten the chance to play yet, as I’m playing other games right now, so I can’t confirm for sure how much of a presence it has in the game. I think it’s only for a few side missions in the game or so, not sure. Wonder where AC will go next and how much competition will be held to it by The Order: 1886 since both their backdrops are history.

          • William of Orange

It’s magical, isn’t it? Visiting a landmark or a location that’s featured in a game? I’ve seen a fair amount of landmarks that overwhelmed me with nostalgia, like Arlington (mgs 3) and cape Canaveral (mgs 3, it’s mentioned by the boss), george Washington bridge, federal hall (mgs 2). It’s awsome, my purpose of life on this earth is complete when I take a trip to Alaska.

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

Arlington is where Big Boss is at the end of MGS3, right, because I don’t remember the name of that location being brought up? And good luck with Alaska, I probably won’t go there for years, as even though I grew up most of my life in a cold climate, it never sat well with me. I’ve always wanted to go to see Aurora Borealis-just that sight would justify my whole trip there and leave me content. It really is a sight to see in the pictures, even better if I went in person.

          • William of Orange

Yeah, and in mgs 4. The “noorder licht”?(it’s how we call it in Holland) Damn, that’s something! You know what I would really want to witness? Earth, Virgin enterprise offers sub orbital flights for 250 k. I know, I pretty much guaranty you that that’s never going to happen, but we all have our dreams, right?

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

Ah ok, I never knew that that was what it was called. cool name for “northern light”. Yeah, exploring space especially in Enterprise would be awesome. Doesn’t hurt to dream. Speaking of which, Star Trek 3 won’t be coming for awhile since its director J.J. Abrams is directing Star Wars Episode VII for a Christmas 2015 release.

          • William of Orange

Shit, for real? I didn’t knew that J.J would direct VII, but there’s enough source material that takes place after VI. We’ll see, I guess.

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

Yeah let’s see how well he does without George Lucas’ involvement.

          • Sorahearts

Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3. SE have announced their line up for Jump Festa, and 2.5 HD will be playable there. However, FFXV has not been confirmed at Jump Festa, which will more than likely be at E3 next year. Just wanted to let you know

            http://gematsu.com/2013/12/square-enix-announces-jump-festa-2014-lineup

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

Sweet. Hopefully footage is recorded so it can be seen by those that don’t attend it, unless of course there’s no way anyone would go out of there way to translate it since it’s in Japan. Too bad FFVX won’t be there. Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚ Also, have you heard that Nintendo’s showing a new game at VGX? Wonder what it will be.

          • William of Orange

You know what’s even nicer than crossing tower bridge?
Answer: crossing the george washington bridge in new york!

          • Nintendo Fan 4 Lif3

Hideo sure does take some amazing photos.

You’ve should have played killzone: shadow fall at Guerrilla’s studio in Amsterdam, Kojima! But it’s good to hear that the mgs v package will be available in Europe too.

    • Nyxus

No confirmation yet, or did I miss something? I certainly hope so, though!

      • William of Orange

It sounds like it: “Whatโ€™s interesting here is that they seem to be talking about the Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Premium Package (the PlayStation 4 version on this photo). Could they be discussing a possible European release?”

        • Nyxus

Yeah, I hope that’s what this is about. But it’s only guesswork for now.

          • William of Orange

Would Kojima take a trip to London for some lounge event?
Either it’s a nice excuse to take a break or he is discussing about the European release of mgs V:gz and have a few interviews with the Brits.

          • Nyxus

Yeah, I’m wondering myself what the exact purpose of this trip is. But he’s been in some meetings it seems.

          • William of Orange

Well, it’s up to you to find out. So, good luck!

          • William of Orange

            I rest my case*

  • Anon G

How in the hell is this news worthy? I don’t give a shit about celebrities, I thought this was Metal Gear Informer.

    • NintenScience

      Oh no, NOT another “Anonymous”…

      Where is @Nyxus:disqus?
