Japanese version of Ground Zeroes includes Peace Walker audio drama with English subtitles

Good news for those who are planning to import the Japanese version of Ground Zeroes (or have already done so): it comes with the Peace Walker audio drama, which is, as the rest of the game, fully subtitled in English.

The drama, called Peace and Kazuhira Blues, contains five chapters expanding on Peace Walker’s story featuring the voices of Snake and Kaz Miller. It was released earlier on cd, but Kojima Productions decided to include it with Ground Zeroes as an extra.

I have both the NA & JP versions of the game on PS4 but I am finishing everything on the English version first before moving on the Japanese version.

Nyxus on Xbox 360 they finally released the dlc vr missons for rising in the US. I don’t think that’s news worthy or anything but I figured it was MG related and wasn’t sure if you knew.

    • Thanks, made a post about it.

Damn as always the JPN version is the best(besides the censored scenes; which may or may not like by other people)

Definitely importing this summer. Too many games coming out and all 🙂

I’d love it if they put up a japanese language pack to download on the PSN store, it’s wishful thinking but it’d be super nice. I will eventually get the japanese version, maybe I’ll skip on GZ and do that for TPP though, assuming TPP has a digital release too, it’d be nice if I could just digitally purchase it on the japanese psn store and not have to pay for shipping

It’s weird, the first time Kojima says his main focus is the western market is the first time I find myself wanting the Japanese version >.>

For those curious, here’s a video of Ground Zeroes with the subtitled audio drama. It’s pretty much the origin story of Snake and Miller’s comradeship.

The drama portion starts 16:18 by the way.
