Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain X Triumph partnership revealed, more at London Comic-Con

On the official Metal Gear Solid Facebook and Twitter, Konami shared a short video teasing a partnership between Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Triumph, the famous motorcycle company.

The collaboration makes sense, as Triumph motorcycles have been featured in the series before: Big Boss rode a Triumph Bonneville in Peace Walker, and EVA in Metal Gear Solid 3 and 4. The motorcycle seen in the MGSV trailer is probably a Triumph as well.

Their bikes are awesome, there’s a shop of there’s about 15 minutes from where I live, with a show floor and everything. Awesome bikes

    • The one in MGS3 wasn’t a Triumph right? Could be wrong though.

It was. It’s even in the credits If I remember correctly. The Triumph Bonneville has been on MGS3, MGSPW and MGS4. The one EVA leaves at the end it’s a T1000 model, similar to the one Big Boss arrives at the beginning of PW. The one on MGS4 that Eva and Snake use it’s a T100.

For a moment I thought this was about woman’s underwear.
Fuck yeah! This pretty much confirms that the motorcycles won’t be just a cutscene thing and that there’s a possibility there’s going to be many of them! 😀
