Weren’t they supposed to have had launched the grade 9 items already?
I like that they are still making new stuff to be developed but besides increased stats most of the weapon upgrades don’t offer new parts (except the lvl 3 supressor), they just recycle old ones like having a grade 8 sniper rifle that now has a booster and a dot sight instead of a new scope.
Am I the only one who finds these high grade equipments “not interesting”?
why they don’t work on new missions?I don’t mean Episode 51,just new SIDE OPS would be fun. What do you think?Which one is more interesting? “Grade 8 Battle Dress” or “New Missions”?
Silly side-ops definitely. That worked so well for PW, the ghost hunting and the fulton shooting were so fun. It’s just such a good way to get that MGS humour without disturbing the main plot.
Yes, yes, yes and a trillion times yes.
I could not to this day wrap my head around their decision to leave the good and creative side-ops out… :/
Besides those repetitive vehicle battle side – ops, the side ops in Peace Walker were quite varied and fun. Date with Kaz/Paz, holding up soldiers with a banana, monster hunter missions, sniper target challenge, photography missions, Pooyan mission, demolition, defend supplies, etc. 🙂
There were too many fulton extraction/eliminate unit side -ops in TPP which were fun the first 20 or so times, but after awhile it gets really tedious haha. It was a strange decision for Kojima Productions to not have much variation in the side -ops.
TPP just needs more fun side – ops on Motherbase/Afghanistan/Africa map like for example : Date with Ocelot/Kaz/Quiet, play hide and seek with recruits, sniper target challenge, make Hamburgers with Code Talker, vehicle race with recruits, etc. haha
Hide and seek with soldiers wearing stealth cammo would be so great, or hunting Mother Base ghosts of fallen soldiers. There is so much they could implement in a small area like Mother Base instead of Afghanistan and Africa (I guess doing those on these locations would involve to much working variables), hell make them into permanent events for that matter, I’m all up to see that MGS humor.
But uhh.. That “mgs humor” was all kojima, not konami..
I wouldn’t want episode 51 unless Kojima directed it.
he did direct it, it was done except for the finishing touches
Yeah that would be nice, but at least this stuff is free.
Meh…they owuld have to make side ops really fun after that repetitive disaster.
20 days for development.
Just buy some MB coins mate! They speed the process and we may even gift you some medicinal plants for it, Come on, what’s your credit cad number? 😀
nope. not re-installing until some substance comes back back to this game as opposed to crap for online, and with Kojima not on the project to add to the SP experience, (which is why i bought this game in the first place, NOT for online nonsense) i sincerely doubt this game will ever be re-installed on my machine again since playing through it first, seeing the End, realizing how much is missing, then uninstalling. SP was THE letdown… and given the input from my console friends, its MORE of a joke online as well… not to mention the rampant cheaters abound constantly reported on the PC side that simply baffle me for existing in the first place considering the PC online port was in development for 3 extra months… WTF were you doing with that time Konami? Counting microtransaction cash? (…… think i just answered my own question) /Rant /KonamiSupport
I’m just glad GZ Sneaking Suit has higher level this time around 🙂

I don’t understand all the hate that comes toward this game. It had alot of story but alot more spaced out. The gameplay though, absolutely class. I platinum’d it two weeks ago and that’s usually me done with a game but I still can’t stop playing. I love playing FOB- it’s classic MGS infiltration and bloody difficult sometimes. Not the P vs P side of it but for pure Tactical Espionage Action- FOB is where it’s at. I haven’t even played MGO (which I love) since taking to FOB infiltration and guess what? Sometimes when your unlucky your gonna probably lose, playing the hardest damn boss fight you’ve ever played. It could be an epic drawn out battle or it could be over in seconds but if they come and defend their FOB your in trouble and your hearts pounding cos the odds are overwhelmingly against you, but you pull it off success! Feels amazing the odd time you win that game of cat and mouse. Peace Walker started it by arguably being the best MGS. This one finishes it!
it says” here are thee of them” Grammer nazi, AWAY!
And also that instead of new over expensive developments, I want new side ops. Plus, I think it would be cool to visit the ruins of old Motherbase.
Should have brought in some Bosses or Recruits with special abilities just in OPS or Peace Walker. The only special character to play is Snake. And the only Bosses in PP are: Man on Fire, Liquid Snake, Quiet and Metal Gear. And even on extrem, Quiet goes down with three shots in a minute.
