  • XIFF-5

    COOL STUFF! Can’t wait!

  • Lautreck

    is it free?

    • They haven’t said anything about a price but it’s safer to assume it will cost money.

      • Lautreck

        this is sad =/

        • WhatTheJuicay

They shouldn’t need to do that if they stick to just giving the option of buying MB coins. Then tempt people with new flashy shit just like gtav does. I love and hate the concept but it is what it is. I bought a couple cash cards and that was nobody’s fault but mine. Rockstar didn’t force me to. Konami could do the same.

  • I wonder if they could add the hospital location to mp

    • Full Options

Looks pretty on-rail / probably harder to adapt, but would be definitely top.

    • WhatTheJuicay

They definitely need a more civilized map. So far we have a bunch of maps where we are running on dirt.

  • Gatsu

    I want playable DD.

    • Full Options

BTW, I loved this shot… Both looking so bad-ass in real time with the sound in background…

    • [MSF]Vinicius

      Me too!

      • Gatsu

This face always cracks me up, lol.

    • JJBYACH

I want to play as Kaz, waddling around and hitting people with his crutch.

      • Full Options

Disabled, Kaz is even more lethal !!!

        • Elijah Guerrero

He is fueled on revenge and rage for those that are not disabled. Wonder if Skullface could be playable, have his personal gun and his special ability would use the parasites (for example, he’d target an enemy and then shoot them with a special bullet that infects them and has them dying to the parasites as they devour the target from the inside).

    • Playable Pequod or riot ಠ_ಠ

  • BurntFM

I want playable Quiet in the MAIN GAME. It’s not enough depending on mods. WTF Konam…..Oh what am I thinking? That’s right….. Konami….. lol carry on.

  • Raven_Sorrow

“AND IT’S GOING TO BE ALL FOR FREE” said no Konami ever…

    • Thurnis’b OndaBeat

I would hope it’s free seeing as they continuously rip maps from the finished game and slap the MGO tag on it. Not much work was put into these maps at all.

      • AeroGre

The only thing that has a chance to be free is Quiet as a playable character. Konami is def gonna charge us for those extra maps.

  • MrVux007

As much as im currently enjoying MGSV and i cant wait to play MGO3….im not planning to buy any DLC…for obvious reasons

    • Full Options

I am so glad you are enjoying it. How Dry Land sounds so far ??

  • ADAMJENSEN13

Thats really, really great DLC. Playable Quiet is a great news!
What about Skullface? I want to play as SkullFace!

    • Full Options

      I want to play as Huey… :O…
Nah… just kidding, I’d prefer to play a Gerbil instead… xD

      • ADAMJENSEN13

Haha! I think no one likes Huey. But I like his story. First We think He is responsible for attack on old mother base, then we think its not him. Does He works for Cipher or not. Really great story. And His voice actor did a great job playing Him.
Scene where Ocelot is throwing Him out of Mother base on that little boat is great!

        • Full Options

Yes, everybody is expecting some kind of Emmerich, and Huey is not responsible for that, but that “Stangelove incident” makes me bitter about him (she was hot, she had probably something going on with the AI version of the Boss…xD). He sounds like loving everybody but stays a freak like everybody… I love his story too, even far more tortured than Otacon…

          • ADAMJENSEN13

Too bad I didnt played others MGS. Only GroundZeroes and Phantom Pain. But Im planning to play them all in the future.
Yeah. Incident with Strangelove was written really great in Phantom Pain. I didnt expect that. For the whole game Huey was saying He is good person and everyone else is bad.
            Yeah. His story is great.

          • Full Options

You’ll let us know what you think about them. Fasten your seat belt, they are all exceptional.
Tons of fun ahead. Even if some titles can look old at first glance, you won’t regret it. Don’t forget to try Peace Walker too (if the environments look lighter, it is because it was designed for PSP, but definitely gives the feels of a regular console game). If you still have a PS3, Grab a HD Col copy, a real MUST !

          • ADAMJENSEN13

After reading Your comment Im even more excited to play older MGS 🙂
Of Course! All Metal Gear(made by Hideo Kojima) are must have!
Im really looking forward to all of them. Peace Walker and portable ops too. Portable ops is before Peace Walker?
I have X360. And I cant play Metal Gear Solid 1 from PSX. Very sad 🙁

            Thanks for reply.

          • Full Options

Portable ops was indeed developed before Peace Walker. The story is awesome, but the gameplay feels a little constrained / hard to play compared to PW.

            Happy playthroughS

          • ADAMJENSEN13

I completed Ground Zeroes on 100 % but Phantom Pain on 83%.
Phantom Pain is soooooo big! There are some missions I need to complete on S rank. Someday I will do it for sure 🙂

Thanks man. You played all MGS? Which one is Your favorite?

          • Full Options

I missed Twin Snakes and ACID series. I am sure Nyxus completed every single one of them. According to the available techno at this time and various artistic aspects, my favorite MGS is MGS 3.

According to the available techno at this time and various artistic aspects, my favorite MG is MG. MG2 visual style was to different for me, whereas the gameplay was still incredible.

If you are 83%, you are almost there. Remember that animals capture occupy quite substantial percentage, if you are not yet done with them.

          • ADAMJENSEN13

I heard that many people says that MGS3 is the best. And many says MGS4 is the worst because its more like a movie not a game. More watching than playing. Is that true?

Yeah. Still need to catch all animals. I dont remember how many left but I think I captured more than half already.
Oh, and I have to complete all mission task.

You made 100%? I played 230 hours Phantom Pain and about 80 hours Ground Zeroes.

          • Full Options

They are all different master pieces, every one of them totally autonomous, and all completely incredible. I love MGS 4, like hell, you may love watching and playing it. MGS 2 is a real key, keep in mind technical challenges at this time.

Splitted on 2 playthroughs, I guess I totallize around 300/350 hrs for TPP. Don’t remember for GZ, will let you know, but both 100 %.

          • ADAMJENSEN13

Good to know. When there was a little less scenes in Phantom Pain everyone says that there should be more story. And if there is too much story they says there should be less scenes. People never knows what they really want.
I think(after playing GZ and TPP) all fans and gamers should be happy and watch, play and listen to what Hideo Kojima has created.
WOW! You made 100 % in TPP? Great! 🙂

          • Full Options

You nailed it Adam. There are also few people like me that feel never having enough cut scenes from Kojima… 😉

Most fellows here are at 100% in TPP. I am one of the last to have completed it (last week).
            🙂

          • ADAMJENSEN13

Haha! And thats the spirit! 🙂

          • MGS4 does have a lot of cut-scenes, but they are really awesome, especially if you have played the other games in the series.

          • ADAMJENSEN13

GZ and TPP have for sure the best directed scenes from all games so Im really looking forward to see what kind of Masterpiece is MGS4 when it comes to directing and storytelling.

          • PO wasn’t really made by Kojima (at least not to the extent the other games are), and there is a bit of debate surrounding its canonicity. But it’s still a great game that’s worth a play through.

And yes, it takes place before PW.

          • ADAMJENSEN13

Really?! Its not made by Kojima? I always tought its main game like MGS 2 or 3 and its fully made by Hideo Kojima. Thanks for telling me. 🙂
I will give it a try if You say its a great game.

          • A lot of people have issues with the controls and it’s like a more simplistic version of PW, but it uses the same basic structure and the story is pretty good.

          • Full Options

I think my principal problem was the screen size after all.
MG is a game to play in an armchair, not in a bus / PSP while stressing to not miss the next stop. I’d love to check it again with a Dual-Shock..

          • ADAMJENSEN13

So thats the point. So when Kojima is not making MGS controls are bad, huh? 🙂
GZ and TPP controls are amazing. Its cool You are using all buttons on the controller and everything is put perfectly!
            Which is Your favorite MGS?

          • They’re all great in their own way, it’s hard to pick a favorite.

          • ADAMJENSEN13

If someone would ask me which MGS I want to play most it would be really difficult question. Im not into sitting and watching gameplays and trailers from games becasue I want to have all fun for myself. I would watch 2 or 3 trailers from one game and thats it. I never watch all trailers released by developers. So I dont really know which MGS have the coolest bosses or characters, scenery, design etc
I want to discover it by myself. To tell the truth I never( I think, maybe some years ago but I dont remember) watched any trailers from MGS not counting GZ and Phantom Pain.
Im really really looking forward to all of them.
What do You think about Kiefer Sutherland as Snake?

          • Pretty… good.

          • ADAMJENSEN13

I think so too. Kiefer made really great job.

          • Full Options

PS: Regarding MGS 1, you may consider various options.
With a decent PS1 emulator, MGS 1 rom should more than fairly perform.
If you still have your PSP, a native PSP MGS 1 rom was also released. A bit of googling should lead you to the solution.
            Good luck.

          • ADAMJENSEN13

There is also a better option. Buying PS1 with MGS 🙂
Really? There is a PC port? Nice!
But there is another problem. MGS4. That is the biggest problem. PSX is cheap so buying for MGS1 is not a big deal. But buying a PS3 for one game is really expensive.

          • Full Options

Just play the rest before. I agree, you can not spend that much on a console dedicated to one game. Just wait and see or ask a friend to leave you his PS3 for 1 or 2 months.

          • ADAMJENSEN13

Haha! That would be great. Something like : Hey, You will probably not need Your PS3 for 2 months so I will take it to my home to play MGS4. 🙂

          • Full Options

Just grab his MGS 4 copy in the same row… 😉

Let’s put ourselves in the shoes of who is left at Konami and are big fans of the series.

Whether them, putting all they have in their guts to honnor the franchise (which would even make HK happy by the way), or Konami wanting to make a point with their consumer base by stating / trying to prove that they can pull up a fair MGS without Hideo, I am really curious to see if they will completely ridiculize themselves by proposing a weak product (like as pathetic as their behavior for VGA), knowing that most of the gameplay is achieved and proven to satisfy the public ???

  • JJBYACH

    A bit off topic:

Recently I just replayed Vampires the Masquerade: Bloodlines (the Malkavian class is a must play the second time around), and it reminded me of how I bought the game on steam and never played it for a year and missed out on what I believe to be one of the best RPG’s of all time. This video was what convinced me to pick it back up about a year later:

    https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=rCV42_TBOJs

So the point here is don’t ignore those games you bought in the steam sale and forever leave them unplayed – you never know, one might turn out to be one of your new favourite games.

    • Gatsu

Really good post and video thanks, I have had quite many of these games in my Steam library for a long time. I sometimes buy cheap games or even new more expensive ones, and might just play them for a little while. Then take a break and it just remains there, eventually I forget to continue it. Reason? I might not like it at first or I just feel like trying something else. Open world games sometimes burn me out, because there’s too much to do. I’ve enjoyed linear games way more now.

Recently I’ve started to clear my library finally and you’re right, I’ve got to see some amazing games/stories when I actually finish them.

Some players play games like CSGO or LoL all the time, only these multiplayer games. But I rather enjoy many single player games and experience these fantastic stories instead. Not spending my time with only 1-2 games. After I have cleared most of mine, I might check out that Vampires game :).

  • and I was expecting to see old MGO maps to make a comeback…
anyways the PC version is an empty waste land so I’m not missing anything

    • Really, it’s been abandoned already?

      • Eh I wouldn’t really say that. I can always find a match when I search for one

      • WhatTheJuicay

They need more game modes. All I ever see in player lobbies are BOUNTY HUNTER. cloak and dagger is incomparable to TSNE but I can only find that in automatch. And this is on PS4

      • on the early beta days I got to play some matches, but real life got in the way and I played a couple of weeks ago… and it was a desert… might try again next weekend but is also very annoying, if you want to play mgo you have to load up MGSv… then load mgo (closes mgsv and starts from zero) and when you got enough MGO you close the game, only to return to MGSV (yup it loads again since the beginning) and then you can exit the game
MGO has its own .exe that can’t be executed individually

      • Ricardo Coelho

There’s still plenty of people playing, about 3 pages of servers to play, isn’t that enough?

  • vic boss

Don’t care about MGO dlc, where’s that single player dlc at???

  • Jav

March? What happens with february? The maps are not “new”.

  • MichaelPayneV
    • Gatsu

How’re you enjoying The Flash mate :)?

      • MichaelPayneV

Pretty good for a TV show, not as good as Gotham, but good enough.

        • Gatsu

          I haven’t seen that one yet :D.

        • Spectralbuttplug

Marvel’s daredevil for the muthafucking win

  • Tong Ninja

Anyone seen the new Final Fantasy XV gameplay trailer? 🙂
It’s interesting that they added in stealth mechanics into the gameplay.

    • Hopefully that works out well. Pretty often, stealth segments in non-stealth games are pretty frustrating.

    • Gatsu

Damn this looks nice and Aranea is gonna kick ass with them Dragoon skills :).

Just watched a horror-fantasy-thriller movie called “Ravenous”, Kojima praised really long time ago,and to my own surprise the movie went under the radar (i guess the genre isnt that popular). But what he praised the most was this awesome soundtrack, which, gives you (in the same time) such tension and fear, but also gives you that “shit got real” moments like in the 4:13 marker of this song i will leave at the end…
He really does have a good taste for these kind of movies and i wouldn’t be surprised if he was inspired by such while making some of “scarier” parts of his games ^^

Anywho, here is that song i mentioned…(WARNING:Headphones and dark room required) (try to reach the 4:13 marker for the best part)

P.S. If you have your own personal favorite soundtrack from some horror movies, pls let me know,i will “gladly” listen to it (“:3)
