Photos of facial capture session for Quiet

Hideo Kojima posted some photos of a facial capture session with Stefanie Joosten, who plays the role of Quiet in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

Even the eyelashes are captured.

Well we can safely say that GZ is almost complete and that TPP is not coming anytime soon since Quiet is in TPP and not in GZ and they’re still doing TPP’s motion captures. Looks like GZ will be released separately after all.

    • DennesyChicken

Yeah and this not necessarily a bad thing! For one, it will give us a taste (finally) what MGSV will be about, and 2, they will get a reaction from fans about GZ and see what they need to fix and implement it in TPP.

      • Batzi

Who said it is a bad thing? It’s actually perfect!

        @4bdac7905c151f679576ec9d1dcac685:disqus: wtf?

    • Golgari

Actually not really. You can’t judge the state of the game by a twitter and there was no release date for any Metal Gear game so in other words they are still developing and at the same time motion capture happens in KoreP studio.

It happens all the time with the game. They change it everyday and actors are required for some changes all the time. Same goes to Voice actors.

Not to mention about Konami Digital Entertainment PR and stuff.

      • DennesyChicken

Fair enough, but im still pretty sure GZ will be released way before TPP.

“Looks like GZ will be released separately after all.”
      You’re a moron.

My theory is that they’re working on GZ and TPP simultaneously, in that neither of them are close to 100% completion, but Kojima still wants GZ to be released close to or at the same time as TPP perhaps as some sort of package so that fans get the full MGS V experience, which is most likely why they’ve only shown private footage of the game since they don’t have anything in playable form to go hands on with. They may either release it as one game after both are complete, or release one shortly after the other as a package by maybe giving you GZ but that you maybe need to complete it first to then play TPP and you can only play after Kojima finishes work on it, and maybe release a patch or update that will enable you to finally play. Those are just ideas but Kojima will probably have something entirely different in mind when he’s ready to formally announce more about the game and I can’t wait for it. It’ll all be worth it.

aren’t they concentrating too much for Quiet?

    what about the other characters?

what about Snake himself Keifer Sutherland 😛

    • Nyxus

I think they want to keep a lot under wraps for now. Quiet is also pretty important, going by Kojima’s statement that she is the main heroine of the game.

    I think I’m in love

Kojima! We want to see more footage NOW!
