Metal Gear and Ludens figures shown at Wonder Festival 2019

Today Wonder Festival was held in Japan, a biyearly event taking place in the Makuhari Messe outside Tokyo where video game and anime fans gather to admire and purchase figures, statues and garage kits.

Hideo Kojima has shared some pictures of a female Ludens figure by Figma that was on display at the event. Ludens is the mascot of the new Kojima Productions studio.

The artwork you see on the first picture, was actually revealed just over a year ago, featured on the Kojima Productions new year’s card.

At the venue, Gecco has also revealed a new Metal Gear figure: a 1/6 scale statue of the Wanderer from Metal Gear Survive.

Aside from these official figures, as always there were various garage kits on display. These are made by hobbyists and thus aren’t official products (however they can be licensed by the copyright holder through a specific agreement such as a single day license).
