Donna Burke hints at more ‘Sins of the Father’ in MGSV: The Phantom Pain E3 2014 trailer
Donna Burke, the Australian singer who could be heard in last year’s E3 trailer of The Phantom Pain, hinted on her Facebook page at the song being used again for this year’s trailer. She said that we can expect ‘maybe a bit more’ of Sins of the Father, as well as the iDroid navigation.
Aside from providing the voice of Snake’s iDroid in MGSV: Ground Zeroes and Sins of the Father in The Phantom Pain, Donna Burke also did another song for the game (part of which can be heard at the beginning of the Red Band trailer). She contributed earlier to the series with the song Heaven’s Divide in Peace Walker.

Man with every MGSV trailer coming to us I have been looking forward to the music and song used and the next one is no different! “Sins of the Father” & the song at the beginning of the trailer (Red Band) are by far my favorite in the series and I can’t wait till I listen to the rest! Hopefully tomorrow at one of the press conferences the trailer will be shown!

I always thought the song at the beginning of the Red Band trailer was the first part of Sins of the Father; but maybe that’s just because the Youtube videos that extracted the song from the trailer put them together.

Finally, It drove me up the wall that people always thought it was one song, for me it was very clearly two different songs.

I fucking knew it Skull Face isn’t a bad guy. He just wants to kill Zero since something happened between them as evidence in the ending of Ground Zeroes.

All those soldiers being burned to ashes and Snake puts them in his face as reminder of their loyalty to him.

Or Snake is being manipulated by Skull-Face into fighting Cipher, not knowing Skull was the one who orchestrated Mother Base’s destruction in Ground Zeroes. After all,
we do see Snake killing his own Diamond Dogs men in the next scene.
Maybe Zero double crossed Skull-Face and went to Big Boss side as part of his own revenge.
Skull Face may have destroyed Mother Base in order to fool Zero into thinking he’s loyal to him(as evidence that he takes orders through a proxy).
Don’t you find it weird when Snake was about to kill the last soldier, the soldier just went up and walk away without defending himself???
It could be Psycho Mantis or some other Psychic mind controlling the soldiers into subduing him.
In any case it seems everyone has their own version of “Revenge” Skull Face Revenge against Zero, Miller’s Revenge against Skull Face and possible Cipher, Chico’s Revenge for Paz, Snake’s Revenge against Cipher/Zero for killing those soldiers and tainting The Boss legacy.
I’m so overwhelmed by this trailer. I’m almost in tears trying to process all that is happening in those 5+ minutes. The things that I’m thinking are the words on Eli’s jacket “Never Be Game Over” Quiet in regular uniform and hands tied behind her, getting choked. Skull Face with some sort of mask/eyepatch thing. My mind (@0@)!!

Zeke is probably the most advance Rex like Metal Gear i have ever since despite being made a prequel.
The only Portable Ops Canon story is probably Snake surviving the San Hieronymo Takeover. I’m not sure if Metal Gear Raxa is the first canon Metal Gear made or Peace Walker or Zeke.
It’s making my mind hurts just by thinking about it.
