Free Ground Zeroes Premium Theme for North American pre-orders, Peace Walker HD offer is EU only
Pre-ordering Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes on PlayStation 3 via PSN gives buyers in North America a free premium theme of the game.
On the other hand, the free Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD offer announced earlier is for the European market only. As a reminder: pre-ordering Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes on PlayStation 3 via the PSN Store will get you the digital version of Peace Walker for free.
The digital PlayStation 3 version of Ground Zeroes costs $20 in the US, and €20 in Europe.

Yeah me too, I wonder does Ground Zeroes have a cool manual with comic and stuff like previous games, or is it like 2 page dull information on controls. Because if it’s going to be just a box with a disc then I’ll probably go with digital copy (although another thing to consider is also the bad ass Shinkawa art cover)

Yeah i know, It seems, GZ has a reversible cover with Shinkawa Atwork on america.

Well… For a free theme it’s not so bad.
You know what would have been better? If they made the chopper’s lens flare highlight the horrizontal red icons of the XMB.
Or, make the theme DYNAMIC and have the choppers pass by while highlighting the red icons with the lens flare in real time!

man, i took that picture when i pre-ordered it and my mobile’s camera is not very good. Maybe you can find a better one in the internet

Nyx, wait, i’m a little confused about the PEACE WALKER part. i read that if you preorder GZ from PSN (NA) that you get PW for free. are you saying now that the free PW game is only for EU now, or are you saying that there’s a free PW HD “theme” that is only available in EU? i only care about the PW “game” being free (NA) if you preorder GZ from PSN cuz i’m trying to convince a friend to order it so he can get PW free and finally play it!
The free Peace Walker (game) is an European offer. Instead of the game, people in the US get a theme.

I’m surprised Konami didn’t take advantage of this and made a Limited and Premium Edition like in Japan.
I guess i’ll be importing the JPN, but not day 1. Sorry Ground Zeroes so many games on my backlog right now 😛
