Here’s a picture of the cassette tape included with MGSV The Lost Tapes soundtrack CD (Limited Edition)
KonamiStyle has posted a photo of the cassette tape that comes with the Limited Edition of Metal Gear Solid V’s upcoming soundtrack CD, The Lost Tapes. The cassette is made to look like the ones found in the game, as well as the one featured in the final scene.
The tape will have the same tracks as the CD, so it can actually be used to play the music. The Lost Tapes CD will release at the end of this month in Japan, for a price of ¥3699. If you are interested in importing it, you can get it at CDJapan. Note that the casette tape is only included with the limited edition.

Now that I see it again, it is like it was yesterday with the difference that I realize how much respect I owe to this little piece of “magnetophone” (as we called it in France).
Something like 20 to 30 secs to load a Metal Gear save with this little baby, but not less than 10 to 15 MINS to load a game such as Epyx Winter Games and stuff… xD

Well my excitement has been quite low because I thought it was going to be XB1 exclusive, and I own PS3-4 and PC. So I thought of not getting a chance to play this gorgeous looking game. But as it was announced to come to PC also, well hell yeah now I am :D. I love Remedy’s previous games. Only thing I need is to update to Windows 10, as it requires that I think and to hope that my GTX970 can run it well :P.
Tbh I haven’t checked the requirements for it lol.
IIRC, 970 will do fine, I think they downgraded graphics a bit.
I was just curious, how do you feel about your country having such a big and successful developer (seeing how most of them come from America or Japan)? Unfortunately, my country still lacks in that department (though I plan to change that someday 😉 ), so I’m always glad to see other countries to have a great developer that goes toe-to-toe with big and old companies.
Btw, I once was in Finland on a tour and I found it amazing. On the last day we had a “free roam” in Helsinki to shop and sightsee, and I still remember it with a smile. I think I will visit it again someday. 🙂

About Remedy being so successful and from Finland, well it make me happy :D. I’m proud of them and thankful for giving me the previous games, which I’ve enjoyed playing during the years. In a way it feel strange, because as you said usually the successful developers are from other countries.

Aye, I feel lucky to live here and Helsinki is a nice city. But the real beauty is when one travels to north or Lapland, such beautiful scenery and nature and animals. I used to travel there a lot with my family when I was younger, good memories ;).

Looks worse than original sony tapes, so i dunno. I dont think there is even a label on the tape’s box so it will get lost in my tapes collection. That sucks.
And its not looking good enough to put on MGS shelf section looking just like avarage sony tape.

If I was Konami, I would be rather mad at Sony for backing up that well the “traitor” I’ve just fired. Seeing how hysterically childish they can behave with branding and box-arts, I would not be surprised if it was the reason why they mapped Konami instead of Sony, and right at the same place… xD
BTW I am not sure if it is even legal, with this legacy cassette design, they need Sony’s auth to do that (although they prob. have or bought it already).
But if not ! I mean it is ok to wipe anything like their own studios or former employees on their own box-arts, but here, it is perhaps yet again a heavy PR BS from them ! They never seize to amaze these guys !

I chose final countdown. I found the tape in the mission where you had to destroy 2 tanks and kill a soldier. I played the tape got on D Horse and chased down the tanks, eventually caught up to them and started blasting them with an rpg all while the final countdown was playing. It was amazing lol

I would kill to travel the 101 again (whole this time) and with Dire Straits in background… 😀 I unfortunately did not visit Wine, but spent 6 months in the Bay Area (San Jose/SF/Berkeley) and had the pleasure to quickly visit the southern side (most big cities between SF and San Diego). CA is a so smooth place to leave… Carmel was so gorgeous.
San Francisco along with Miami,New York are probably one of my favorite places ive visited in USA…tho i mostly like Miami,for its glorious Brazilian restaurants where you pay 40$ and you eat as much as you like….if you visit any top tier Brazilian restaurant (my favorite ones are “Texas de Brazil” & “Fogo de Chao Brazilian”) in Miami,you have to try their steaks 😀

Yeah SF is so awesome and since all major series and movies were filmed in those streets, I always felt like inspector Harry, Starsky & Hutch in there ! 😀 Remembering cars pursuit in those roller-coaster like roads. Berkeley has the same kind of streets in some neighborhoods.
Talking about food, California is where I learned to cook the Best Mexican food beside awesome burgers. 😀
I did not much visit the east coast unfortunately. Was always only transiting in NY. Once in ’87 spend a month in Wisconsin (yeah I know, not super sexy destination but my uncle is living there) and the second time in CA. I am fond of great steaks ! 😀 so will definitely follow your advice when I’ll visit Miami (and potentially play the Sonny Crockett’s in his 512 TR xD). I’ll try Wine too next time in California.
Think about checking Carmel and Monterey if you are fond of great trees / landscapes.

Rule of thumb :”The Best Mexican Food is the one you cook yourself”.
Just check fresh ingredients, don’t rely on pre-composed industrial spices mixes, plug as much cilantro as possible everywhere (my take) and you’ll cook the best Fajitas/Burritos/Tacos on earth (trust me :D).
Another central part is the Salsa. Apparently the most popular receipe in California is the “Pico de Gallo” (fresh tomatoes, fresh peppers, cilantro, a lot of onions cut in little cubes, and your prefered right equilibrium between lemon juice and salt).
Quite central and convivial, since you’ll use the salsa first for the aperitive with nachos and use it also for your main dish (e.g inside your fajitas). Pure awesomeness with any of your favorite meats (also shrimps and other possible sea food included)…
And don’t forget Margaritas… =O
PS As for Starsky & Hutch, you are then virtually guilty of one of the worst crimes on earth but if you manage to cook great Fajitas, I may forgive you.
They look old, but just try to watch one of the old episodes with Paul Michael Glaser and David Soul (also evil in Harry / Magnum Force BTW), so hilarious but also damn dramatic… I swear you won’t regret it.

Fajitas the way my family / friends taught me in California :
1 – Burn a bit your corn or flour Tortilla on fire few secs each side, before they get too dark (some dark spots are ok)
2 – flatten cooked red or white beans on it (not much otherwise you won’t manage to close your fajita)
3 – your favorite grilled meat (could have been cooked in a sauce with your favorite ingredients)
4 – a bit of your salsa (pico)
5 – your guacamole
6 – a little spoon of sour cream (a must)
7 – close the tortilla and enjoy !
Don’t put too much of all those inside… I know it is tempting, but it is going to be hard to close it.

I don’t think this place is empty at all … I’m actually surprised this many people are still sticking around post TPP. This article itself has 84 or so comments which is still a lot! Not every article has to have 400 comments … haha
Currently the news is basically MGO and Kojima setting up his studio. Once we get more juicy news in the future (like a teaser trailer for Kojima’s new game or MGS6 announcment), discussions/comments will start to flow. 🙂
Also take into account, that people might be busy with work/ university/ social life/ family / high school/ etc. 🙂

Yea you can either connect you PS4 directly to your PC or you can connect on the same network and stream you PS4 to your PC with no virtual lag…
But unless you plan on playing Co-op with some of the games or don’t own a decent TV i don’t see much of an use of it…
Also the same thing can be done on Mac and Android (i think)
