Hideo Kojima receives Golden Joystick Lifetime Achievement Award
Hideo Kojima has received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 32nd Annual Golden JoyStick Awards, in London. Kojima was unable to attend the event in person, because of how busy he is with development of MGSV: The Phantom Pain, but here is his acceptance video.
Congratulations Mr Kojima, and well deserved!
Update: Here is the full video, including the video montage showing an overview of Kojima’s work:

Congratulations Kojima-san <(^O^<) !
"I have been practically chained to my desk in order to get it finished." LOL xD
Maybe Konami literally chained him there. 😛
Or he could’ve done it under his own directive; you know how punctilious and arduous he gets once he associates himself with a project, not to mention, Metal Gear.
I wouldn’t be astonished, this is Kojima-san, after all. The only man in the industry with the fecundity and assiduity of a demigod. 🙂
The question is: do we want to free him or not =)
we free him when we get a release date ^_^
Yeah >:D ! A fair trade, his freedom for our long awaited Release Date !
Can we ask for Co-Op too on that bargain?
that makes me confident that mgsv tpp will be a masterpiece
Kojima-san you handsome perverted intelegent bastard you earned it :3
Congrats Hideo, you sure deserve this Award, keep it up.
PS: That “Lisa” Jump Scare was well made and totally surprising.
Wow. Congratulations!
Congratulations Kojima-san! We love you!!! <3
Did he win any Golden Joysticks before?
Maybe some of his titles, but this seems to be the first he wins personally. This is only the second Lifetime Achievement award they had, the first went to Ken Levine.
Getting no awards is perhaps a mark of a true genius – Hitchcock’s only Oscar is also a Lifetime Achievement.
Congrats Kojima-san!
That jumpscare tough.
