Kojima shows ‘photo realistic’ Raiden figure by Hot Toys

A new Metal Gear figure has been announced by Hot Toys, and Kojima shared some photos on Twitter. The company made a Naked Snake and The Boss figure before, and this time it’s Raiden from Metal Gear Rising who gets the realistic treatment. And it certainly looks impressive.

The figure is 12 inch long and as you can see on the pictures, it comes with a lot of extra stuff, such as various weapons, hand, a visor and chest armor, and has nearly 30 points of articulation. It’s set for release in Q4 of this year.

Way better than the Play-Arts kai! and it even comes with Sam’s sword and the rifle from Ground Zeroes’ Jamais-vu mission lol

  • my god, this is probably one of the few companies where even though the price is high, it is totally worth it, their quality is superb, wish i could have at least one hot toys figure… i’ll keep waiting for the right one, i loved their naked snake, but i don’t like that much the stealth suit from mgs3, if they made a version with the military suit from the ending, or make an older big boss, i would be willing to sell a couple of organs and see if i’m able to buy it haha

Wow why can’t more companies put some more effort in putting their figurines!!

Definitely much better than the Play-arts kai. Was hoping they would add a White Armor as well.

I hope they make a Ground Zeroes Snake as well 🙂

I agree a MGS Ground Zeroes Snake would be awesome.

    • Well, this is just on another level. Play Arts figures are 60 dollars, these are over 200 dollars.
