Konami has plans for Metal Gear Online tournaments
According to the updated FAQ on the MGSV site, there are plans for official tournaments for Metal Gear Online. These will be announced in the future.
The FAQ also confirms that Metal Gear Online will allow you to play with players from all over the world. Earlier, the team said that there are plans to make the game region free, and now it seems to be official. The Japanese FAQ mentions that players will be able to choose between ‘Japan’ and “ROW’ (rest of world), but this isn’t explicitly stated in the English FAQ so perhaps the menu will work a bit differently.
You know shit gets real with japanese players when there is only their region and rest of the world.

They are having a big problem with there youth getting addicted to gaming some of them play for days and nite and don’t sleep or eat or leave the game. Not sure which Asian country it is but one of them actually has a rehab boot camp for addicted gamers. Which there parents, family or court can order to put there children , teen or young adult in. If your interested in more info about it there is a documetery about it on netflixs I believe!

After about 22 hours with Main/Side Ops and all the item grinding I am right around your 13% too.
I felt that I reached Africa rather early, is it for real it is only Afghanistan and Africa?
I feel the pacing leads to me to believe there are more than just 2 maps.
I also think Quiet is my absolute favorite buddy.

Just like in GTA, when you really need a ride they are nowhere to be found.
I hated running long distances to my objective after the heli would drop me off.

There already metal gear 6 in the working. My brother works for company I played test version on his work notebook. It’s cool but level I was playing was missing allot of art work they don’t even have the first level finished. When he gets home tonite I’m going to burn copy of the game to DVD then make zip of is and leak it anyone interested in a copy hit me up! I just unlocked gun costumization , and it is just too well implemented for the game , because you can literally change everything in a gun. Praise Kojima and Shinkawa. Also since quiet was available as a buddy I just use her, I think she’s the best buddy, I used to use ddog a lot but not anymore and as for dwalker, I haven’t really used him as I’m more of an stealth guy and if things go wrong just have quiet cover for you.
Maximizing your bond with quiet is necessary go unlock a mission
putting a suppressor on a gun without one. So awesome. SO SO AWESOME.
but indeed, the weapon customization is amazing. Get buddy bonds to 100 and see what you get, pretty awesome, unexpected actually
How do you unlock it?
There are a string of rescue the legendary gunsmith missions sideops.. do those and you’ll unlock it finally
Dwalker is good but too expensice on the GMP, Ddog is amazing. But Once Quiet get her shooting on.. man she never misses.. but to save GMP and go full stealth with Cqc, ddog is the best because he can mark, bark and stun. Quiet is useless unless you get her a supressor because everyone goes on alert. But once you get her that.. damn you need nothing else. Bad thing about her though..is that she doesnt/cant scout places other than designated.. basically.. alot of side ops which are away from her scouting locations, she wont help there :/
I hope I can make a suppressed nonlethal scoped shotgun for ultimate tacticool tactics.
Nah, I just hope I can make a nonlethal version of the MRS-4 for ultimate nonlethal combat effectiveness and stealth purposes. Take arguably the most flexible gun in the game (at least for me so far) and make it nonlethal with a somewhat durable suppressor and a red dot sight? Yes please.

I think they need to worry about people even being able to get online, let alone play online.
Lol how about it every time they say they fix it 5 mins being logged into the server it crashes and I get logged out. Or every time I use my idroid app map on my android phone or tab it works for about 3 mins then crashes the game I’m playing and logs me out of mgsv server. I just hope when mgo drops the servers are allot better then what they have been. The problem is there to many people trying to log in the servers once there back up causing them to crash. Wich means they need to get more servers to handle the bandwidth but that means more money the company has to put out. So there going to put it off as long as they can. When game sales drop they will most likely dish out the cash and expand there network! Just normal big company greed!
if the enemy starts wearing helmets without face shields it is slightly harder to pull off a head shot unless they are facing your direction you can just shoot them in the face. if they start wearing full body armor including face shields you want to get the armor piercing sniper rifle otherwise you might as well be shooting at a wall wasting your ammo.
is there a way to tranq the full shielded dudes?

Yea but thats an issue when enemy is alerted :/ I literally had a boss fight segment with a couple of these guys on alert and i wanted to knock them out because of they had good stats and i usually only carry a tranq gun and the iconic MRS for lethal… I think the sleep grenade should work against them.. never tried that yet because its expensive on the resources :/
Not really just aim at there face or there neck or throat man. If all you do is head shots the game picks that up and players start to wear helmets. To get around this u need to switch it up and not always do head shots. Switch it up kill one enemy with head shot then next one shot to body followed up by a quick shot to the body. Keep it all mixed up in the game to trick the bots and game play!
So i beat chapter 2 and you will learn crazy stuff but is that the end or are there still missions?

This makes me feel a bit more confident in MGO’s lifespan. I would love for it to go big as an eSport (especially since it’ll be on PC) and I’d be interested in really getting into it if this was the case.
The real question is, will the meta favor mouse and keyboard or controller? On one hand you have great mouse aim and pretty good movement on keyboard (at least in my opinion), and then on controller you have more precise movement but much less precise aiming with weapons. Should be interesting to see which way it goes. I’m going to use kb/m regardless but it will certainly be fun to watch competitive players go head to head with controllers and kb/m setups.
Please hurry mgo online I’m getting so good at game can’t wait to own noobs online! Since I got mgs5 at nite I dream of mgo release day! I get so excited I have ed but when I dream of mgo 3 and see my self playing online sniping noobs I wake up with a massive hard on#!
