Metal Gear Rising selling well in various European countries
Metal Gear Rising Revengeance is doing quite well on the European continent, as indicated by sales charts of different countries of week 8 (February 17 – 23) and week 9 (February 24 – March 2). The game has been out in Europe since February 21st.
Listed below are the countries that have the game in their sales charts, and at what position either version can be found (PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360).
Week 8
France: at 1 (PS3)
Finland: at 1 (PS3) and 8 (X360)
UK: at 2 (PS3) and 3 (X360)
Germany: at 2 (PS3) and 4 (X360)
Norway: at 2 (PS3) and 10 (X360)
Sweden: at 3 (PS3) and 12 (X360)
Netherlands: at 4 (PS3)
Denmark: at 7 (PS3)
Week 9
UK: at 3 (PS3) and at 6 (X360)
Ireland: at 10 (PS3 / X360)

🙁 im kinda sadd that the 360 sales are not as close to the ps3 as i thought. Because in the end it wil only leave less incentive to make a sequel for both consoles if 360 doesnt sell as well
I wouldn’t worry about that, Kojima Productions seems multiplatform focused now, and it might not sell as well as the PS3 version, but it’s still in the top lists. So it can’t be that bad.
