Metal Gear sales jump nearly two million in Q3 2025

The Metal Gear series has now passed 65 million copies (65.1 to be exact), which means it has sold 1.8 million copies following the release of Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater in August of this year. The previous report had the series at 63.3 million total sales.

Shortly after launch, Konami already reported the Snake Eater remake had sold over 1 million copies. Of course, the number reported today also includes other instalments of the series, but the effect of Delta is plain to see.
