Metal Gear series total sales reach 66.1 million

Lifetime worldwide sales for the Metal Gear series has reached 66.1 million units as of the end of March, Konami has revealed through their quarterly update. At the end of the previous quarter, ending December 2025, the franchise was at 65.5, which means 600,000 copies were sold in the past three months.

The second volume of Metal Gear Solid Master Collection will release later this year, on August 27, making Metal Gear Solid 4 and Peace Walker (along with some extras) available for modern systems.
