Metal Gear Solid 4 wins PlayStation Generations Award

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots has won one of the PlayStation Generations Awards during the PlayStation Partner Awards 2024, held in Japan on the day of the brand’s 30th anniversary. Because of the anniversary a special category was introduced to celebrate the most beloved games of each PlayStation generation, chosen by users. MGS4 was the winner of the PlayStation 3 generation.

The official PlayStation Blog writes:

PlayStation Generations Awards

Awarded to titles chosen by users in the Japan and Asia regions from each PlayStation generation – the original PlayStation, PS2, PSP, PS3, PS Vita, and PS4. All games are previous “PlayStation Partner Award” winners.

Website Game Watch shared a picture of Yuji Korekado receiving the award (a PlayStation 3 shaped trophy with a description of the achievement).
