It seems they often do discounts after a while (looking at the other franchises). So maybe they’ll be cheaper in the future.
They are expensive, but the quality is pretty good – I have their Deus Ex: HR and Watch Dogs-based coats. It’s about what you’d expect to pay for a coat of that length/quality, etc. That said, the pricing on their t-shirts and accessories is pretty outrageous.
Hideo looks in need of a hug with that soft hoody on.

Seriously though.. THOSE are VERY high prices .. I dont understand why they do it though.. If they just made good stuff, made it affordable for most of the people, they’d get alot more sales and in the end get more that way than they would get by keeping it SO EXPENSIVE.. Only hand-made stuff should be THAT expensive… its too much :/
$56 canadian before tax for a t-shirt is pretty wild. I bought a nice sweater for $10 from urban planet lol.

what the f&%k is happening with Kojima and Konami? They’re milking the MG franchise with those stupid things (clothes , a lot of figures, accesories) some fans just only wants the damn game , but no, kojima is too busy promoting this stupid and too EXPENSIVE things. let’s hope The phantom pain could be a good game.
Merchandise is a part of Konami’s profit. But don’t worry about the game, if anything the money they make selling merchandise can be used to fund an expensive game like TPP.
You aint getting TPP any faster by raging over here. Merchandises are part of popular games and give lot of money to developers, also to fund future projects I think like Silent Hills. Kojima is working on the game, but it isnt the only thing he need to take care of.
They will give release date in GDC so chill :D, game comes this year so we’re all good… I know we all want it but gotta wait and enjoy MG news in the meantime. TPP WILL be amazing game :).
P.S. Even though these clothes are expensive imo, I’m sure there are countless of ppl/fans who will buy them.
Vic_boss up there just posted some information about GDC.. apparently, They havent confirmed that they’ll be there and to top that off.. theres a KS scheduled for 5th of march.. I hope they release it man.. i cant wait any longer for gods sake..
guys if you want some merchendise (though probably not so cool) try http://www.redbubble.com/ and search for: mgs, msf, kojima….. I bet you will find something you like. you basically choose design and then if you want t-shirt, hoodie or something else, then colour and size. you can even get 10% discount if you subscribe to theyr newsletters or something. and I personally had very good experience with theyr support.(hope it doesn’t sound like an AD :D)

There is a place near to me where they do design printing on good clothes for 13$… Basically on different type of hoodies, shirts, pants… all you need to do is give them a design 🙂

I mean that jacket in upper images is great. But when Kojima announced this clothing like in that one event, I remember seeing some cool leather jackets in there or then my memory is messed up haha xD. Maybe we get to see more later.

They’ve just announced episode 34 of Kojima station for the fifth of March. I hope we get a release date on that day or before, because my birthday is the sixth so it would be a great gift from Kojima.
Also I would not get my hopes high for GDC, because konami has not confirmed they will be there, also the next KS will be on 03/05/2015 and GDC is from the 2nd to the 6th of March , besides they already showed the Fox engine there on 2013 and they were not there last year.
If we dont get a date by the end of GDC/KS.. It IS REALLY gonna piss me off -__-
Lets hope they show something and give us a date on 2nd-4th at GDC and then celebrate it in KS.. Because honestly, the wait is really tiring :/

Well I guess you’re right but I don’t think Kojima himself will go there because it will interfere with KS unless he flies to Japan just after his conference at GDC or if he has this KS pre-recorded or something like that. Anyways they weren’t there last year so if anything I think Kojima Pro L.A. are the guys who’ll be there. I mean I’m hoping to be wrong and that we get a release date in GDC but with Kojima I would not get my hopes high.

Yes the one in March is after the one of this month, I guess they are gonna reveal the release date on the last Kojima station so they don’t schedule all the KS that are left.

I dont think they give it in KS. Well Torashiro hinted about that, he is working for Konami right :D? Anyway after that Christmas KS, he said “the announcement will be loud for everyone to hear, not just for super fans of the series” or something like that. Meaning they don’t give it in some small KS imo, but instead in a big game event with live streams.
Just my thoughts and I could be wrong :). That could be amazing gift yeah!

Got the Premium Zip Sweater today (came rather quickly), it does LOOK very nice but there are some very poor/cheap/lazy manufacture choices made concerning the pockets and hood. I guess I have to sew it properly myself which is quite sad considering the pricetag.
