Metal Gear Solid Legacy intro video released
Konami released a new video titled ‘Metal Gear Solid Legacy’, which gives us a small taste of the interviews included on the bonus disc of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (where it serves as the intro to the whole thing). In it, we can see several voice actors, game journalists, game designers and movie directors talk about Kojima and his work, including Kiefer Sutherland, Guillermo del Toro and Harry Gregson-Williams.

I don’t have it yet. I’m still waiting but I will play it on my vacations in october. And I will play it with ground zeroes for the first time. Yeah I know, I have been patience for all this time but the wait is worth it. 😀

Should I pay 75$ to buy a digital copy off PSN and play the game now? (of course buying it off PSN now would mean I would be spending 75$ for a day or two of playing and that’s it) Or wait 2 days (tomorrow if I’m lucky) to play my physical copy when it finally gets shipped?
Depends. If you make a ton sure, if not you might wanna struggle if you can keep yourself busy
I don’t make a ton, and I have nothing to keep myself busy, lol. My vacation started and I have been bored out of my mind, I’m also salty about the whole thing leaving me not wanting to do much of anything.

Wait. I am on the same boat and the wait is KILLING ME! But that feeling you get of unwrapping it and smelling that awesome manual will never be replaced. We got this! What is a couple of more days compared to back in March when the release date was announced.

It is unbearable! I almost went to Walmart and bought it last night. Talked myself out of it since money is super tight but man. To make matters worse, the collector’s edition guide is on its way to me right now…and I have a 1000 paper to write…ahhhh 1st world problems!
After finding my copy down-town last saturday, I phoned to a friend who had ordered it. He was so excited that I could find mine and we agreed that he could cancel his order (refusing when it ships, or later since he has also 2 weeks to decide). I got back to this market and bought my friend’s copy so giving him the confirmation to cancel his order. He went to my place and we played TPP with my copy all the night. BTW, the market offered us a DD T-Shirt that was supposed to belong to day1 pre-orders… 😀
Yeah, I would have just cancelled and went out bought one somewhere, but I ordered the not so special CE, which I most likely wouldn’t be able to get anywhere.
Mmmm, I see, you are in deep shit it seems. You may also considering buying a physical somewhere and resell it asap, decreasing the 75 bucks by how much the store will buy it you back. You may actually explain the situation to them so motivate them to propose you something cool. The fact is that you won’t be able to resell a digital copy of the PSN so it will cost you full 75$ if you go digital.

I had a pretty easy way of handling this. I pre-ordered CE and cause physical copies in my country ship only on 2-3 of September (fuck I hate my country’s retailers), and I didn’t want to wait. So, I took my brother’s account and bought the digital game there. So now I’m playing TPP while waiting for my CE to come. One problem being the save file, I can’t transfer it, so I’ll have to do that prologue again, duh (not that it’s bad, but 75% of it contains VERY VERY VERY VERY slow crawling, and this part was already seen in 2012 reveal video, so as much as I hate to admit it, the prologue was 50% annoying), but now I can focus on gameplay and cassete tapes. I downloaded companion app and while the game downloads further parts of the story I sit and listen to tapes from my tablet!

The debriefing video made me cry. Kojima always does this to me. It just shows how much he cares for the fans , how much Kojima himself, Kojima productions and well Konami too. I just hope Sean Passed away with a smile in his face playing the games that we all in this community love.
