Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater Pachislot promo pictures show EVA and Ocelot
Some pictures with new images of the recently announced Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater Pachislot machine have surfaced, that seem to be from what seems to be a flyer or some other print material. On the images we can see several of the game’s characters, including Snake, Ocelot and EVA.
Pachinko is a pinball like gambling game popular in Japan, and Konami has been adapting their franchises to Pachislot versions, to the dismay of many fans of said series.

Yeah she looks too sweet, not as badass as she does in Snake Eater.
Whereas Snake and the Boss’s expressions were not that bad, Eva is indeed missed. She looks far more minx and calculator in SE which makes all her charm.

You should look up how big the Pachinko market is. Konami already has a bunch of Pachinko machines. This is the only one that’s really adapting a specific game.

Its not Your fault Konami prefer working on Pachinko machines than on MGS games.
next year is Metal Gear’s 30th anniversary and I predict these scenarios:
1. Konami does absolutely nothing and quietly releases a guns of the patriots pachinko trailer before E3
2. Konami holds an awkward party without Kojima or anyone from the core team, announce MGR2 and the international pachinko release (also they do something really stupid that piss off fans like an animated MGS movie with a “minions” art style) and a cellphone game with aggressive microtransactions
3. An actual awkward reunion with Hideo Kojima, Konami at the party announces a SONS OF LIBERTY pachinko and that will end up in a civil war
4. ALL OF THEM

No one is going “OMG great engine!” but you, we’re just saying the videos and models look beautiful and it shouldn’t be wasted on a stupid pachinko machine.
Konami still owns the Fox Engine, they are more than equiped to make a real MGS3 remake with similar, if not identical, graphics to those in these cutscenes; and if not, plenty of good games use CGI prerendered stuff on their story-driven portions, I apreciate Kojima for using real-time stuff as much as he does, but I don’t expect that level of perfectionism from every developer.
Also, kindly reminder that even MGS4 had CGI eggs and some prerendered videos.

Definitely agreed, he looks indeed badass, but quite different than MGS3’s.. The hairs color for instance but also the face’s shape… Looks like an Ocelot cosplay… 😀
