Metal Gear Solid V PS4 version looks ‘slightly better’ than Xbox One version
The PlayStation 4 version of Metal Gear Solid V looks slightly better than the Xbox One version. This information was revealed in Game Informer’s extensive MGSV coverage for their March issue. To quote the article:
Kojima notes that MGSV looks slightly better on the PS4 compared to the Xbox One, something we also noticed before he mentioned it.
Unfortunately the writer didn’t elaborate on what exactly this entails. Either way, it’s good news for fans planning to get the game on PlayStation 4.

ehh will see.
then again, i’m getting the PS3 version since it’s much cheaper and they’ll probably do a bundle with Phantom Pain in the near future.
ill be doing the same thing for my PS3, but will probably get for my 360 as well for the differing DLC.
this whole graphical difference between consoles harkens back to the 90’s with SNES and Genesis. SF2 and MK are good examples. visuals looked better on SNES, tho when it came to MK there was an option to turn blood ON for Genesis. SNES didn’t have the red coloring so it looked like sweat. SF2 colors looked washed out on Genesis whereas SNES colors stayed truer to the original game.
Where can I read this game informer thing anyway
