Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain wins ‘Adventure Game of the Year’ DICE Award
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has won the ‘Adventure Game of the Year’ award at this year’s DICE Awards. Unfortunately, Konami wasn’t able to be there to collect the award, so 343 Industries producer Kiki Wolfkill accepted it on their behalf, ‘and on behalf of Kojima Productions’.
Update: The executive producer of the show (Terrence Myers) told Polygon: “Konami was unable to send someone to the awards and Kojima-San preferred not to accept it. The Academy thought the solution of having the presenters accept on behalf of the title was best for all parties.”

What goes around, comes around.
Can’t run from yourself forever.
I hope that was an awesome lawyer who prevented them from being there 😛
This could be a karma strike for what happened during The Game Awards 2015.
