Photos of Kojima Productions’ Metal Gear filled hallways
Today, Kojima took some time out of his schedule to take pictures of the Kojima Productions hallways, which are filled with posters of various Metal Gear games.

Will that poster with kaz be avaliable anywhere else besides Japan if it is even avaliable there.
So far it’s not for sale anywhere, even in Japan. Maybe it will be printed again as a promotional poster later on.

I’m more annoyed by the lack of Snatcher and Policenauts, since those were heavily promoted in Japan back in their day and pretty important games in Kojima’s early career.
Still, the absence of a single MPO poster in that hallway is quite funny. Even Twin Snakes has a poster sneaked in between the MGS1 ones.

i agree wholeheartedly! i beat MPO a good 3 times then installed cheats and other game saves to make even more fun. my Snake had 2500/2500 health and stamina and S rank all. 1971 baby… SAN HIERONYMO!!!
love Portable Ops! one of my favorite stories in the MGS series. definitely a worthy follow up to MGS3 compared to Peace Walker
I’m right there with Ya. PO was actually the reason I got a PSP in the first place. Its like an MGS 3 continuation. That’s how Roy Campbell gets introduced to (Naked) Snake too. I mean ok.the whole.Sokolov still being alive was a fluke but I was willing to brush that aside. PO has a good story and gameplay was good for a PSP. And honestly PW wouldn’t exist without PO so there’s that. I still play PO from time to time to do a mission or two and then put on sleep mode till I pick up again. It’s just a neat game. I was just glad to have an MGS game in my pocket. I have PO, PO+, PW, MGS 1 also in my PSP, and I have Ghost Babel for my Gameboy SP. I have MGS 3DS too. Shit I’m even running PO on my HTC One using the PPSSPP emulator!
my favorite part is the introduction of Null(Gray Fox) and Gene.
not to mention Big Boss not grieving or being obsessed with The Boss, but rather doesn’t want to live her life which is being controlled by the government all for her country.
shame they could have remade this and put some of the characters from Peace Walker like Strangelove, Heuy, Miller.
i don’t mind not seeing Roy for a long time, since he’s more involved in Solid Snake etc.
and yeah the PSP emulator on PC is awesome!!!
all retcons aside, i too like that Null (young Gray Fox) was intro’ed. people troll and complain too much about stuff like that, but who cares, yknow? what i also liked about PO was that all comrades looked different at least to some degree. different camoes, soldiers, officers, even special characters from MGA1 and 2 were all playable after you beat the game the first time. Hell, we could even play as EVA, Ocelot, Major Zero, or Sokolov!! i even added a skin hack to use shirtless Snake from the intro scene when he meets Campbell in the jail cell. PO even has the same CQC moves from MGS3. the only difference there is that you couldn’t stab anyone.
yeah love the special character cameos, Raiden, even Venus and Teliko returns as well!!
heck even Old Snake in Portable Ops+ was there for promotional for Metal Gear Solid 4.
