Oh, interesting, that Sneaking Suit Big Boss is a Revoltech and not a Revol Mini. Plus side is it should be a lot more detailed and articulated. Negative is that we can’t have Sneaking Suit BB stand side-by-side with MGS1 Solid Snake. Hmm, I wonder if we’ll be able to swap heads between the Peace Walker Snake and this TPP one.

It looks like TPP is 200 times bigger than GZ.
Afghanistan is about 60 times larger than GZ.
Assuming that the last map is around the same size that only leaves around 80 blocks for any thing else.

It sounds about right, (previewers back in May, said it was around 40-50 Ground Zeroes maps for Afghanistan).
So maybe at least one more region/map after Africa? 🙂
I think that a third open location is practically confirmed (not talking
Cyprus, motherbase or Camp omega). Firstly there is claim by a gamer,
who almost completed story missions in africa and game completion rate
was only about 35 – 40 % I am taking in consideration, that a Konami
representative stated, that almost completeded main story line and was
somewhere at 52 %. Secondly at least one previewer indeed said, that Afghanistan is about 50 times bigger than Ground zeroes.
According Kojima Phantom pain should be about 200 times bigger than
Ground zeroes. Unless Africa is about three times bigger than
Afhganistan – which I doubt, there should be at least one other big
playable location, Thirdly Gametrailers preview (1:32) directly states,
that there is a third location (other than hospital and MB, as these are
mentioned separately). My bet is that there will be three big open
locations and unannounced third location will be something
story/timeline connected yet different enough from Afghanistan and
Africa – perhaps some huge industrial complex?
What if they pull an mgs4 and have you go back to russia. Like ss going back to shadow moses.
Imagine revisiting the field where we fought the Boss, or refinding the ladder, oh my god I’m desperate for this to happen now.
I have been dreaming of that moment, like in coma or just in some flashback we visit the field of flowers T_T.
I imagine us revisiting the area and then Snake having a hallucination of The Boss and reliving the fight but when Snake defeats The Boss and as he is about to take the final shot something different happens, maybe Snake throws the Patriot to one side and chooses not to follow his country’s orders accepting he’s not the hero he once was.
I hope it’s possible.
It would certainly be interesting… With many russian characters like Ocelot and Mantis and soviet occupation troops, russia would fit right in. However still think, that next area will be more related to first 2D Metal gear. Kojima is rather unpredictable though.

Well once we take into account the size of Africa, the Cyprus Hospital, Mother Base, and anywhere else Kojima may include I think we can easily confirm its 200X larger than Ground Zeroes.

The question is, whether there are other areas other than the confirmed maps (Africa, Afghanistan, Cyprus Hospital, Mother Base, Camp Omega). From the above estimate, there is a good chance that we will encounter at least one more map that we haven’t seen yet. 😀

I’m still trying to figure out where the ST-84’s “arm” is located.
I asked but the post didn’t stick for some reason. (i think my disqus is having problems…) But i think those things on the sides of its head are the arms folded/collapsed O.o
I was thinking that too. But the arm that grabs BB in the Elegia trailer looks bigger than that.
I wonder if that arm is actually an hallucination based off of Big Boss’s prosthetic arm (similar to the spikes chasing him in the jeep being based off the black ‘debris’ in his head), you’ll notice the arm lifting him is a left arm, matching BB’s and of course is also mechanical.
I thought so too at first, but it does not exactly match snakes hand. As Yong pointed out in his detailed trailer analysis, the hand has 3 fingers and 2 opposable thumbs. Almost like the hand in the art book that shows the ST-84 blueprints..
We will find out soon!

If true. It seems Mantis and SkullFace are with Snake either from the start or eventually. Mantis helps Snake escape from the hospital. Then who are the bad guys? Perhaps Snake is the bad guy? If not, then it’s got to be Zero. Or maybe it’s one man’s terrorist is another mans freedom fighter analogy?
I’m still off the opinion that Skullface will die early on and will play a similar role to a certain character from Arkham Knight.

Kojima already confirmed she’s not chico. So either he just doesn’t know that or he’s trolling.
Not only Kojima but Stefanie Joosten herself has denied it many times and it’s pretty annoying now that the joke ran it’s course.
I’m not saying that Quiet is actually Chico but to use “Kojima said…Stefanie said” as proof against that theory is silly, of course they wouldn’t admit to a huge spoiler before release (if it were true, which I’m not saying it is).
The better defense would be to say something like, Chico doesn’t look like Quiet because Quiet is actually physically based off Stephanie, so the facial comparisons don’t make sense. Otherwise the theory has some compelling points and the lack of Chico in any of the trailers does raise suspicions.
Chico can’t be Quiet because last time we saw, Chico was a prepubescent(he still is, lol) Justin Bieber, and Justin Bieber isn’t Quiet. Case closed. lol

Quiet is sure to be modded in ways some people may not agree with on the pc version. What do you guys think about those types of mods for MGSV?
I’m no modding expert, but I think it’s tough to do that in any meaningful fashion without a mod devkit, but good luck to whoever tries to accomplish it. From my understanding, most GZ mods are just based on editing and swapping files without a devkit, but I may be wrong.
Now that i think about it.. As you may all know Kojima did always try to hide the true identity of the characters of the whole Mgs saga.
In mgs1 we all thought that Kaz was actually him, but we found out that Miller was killed by Liquid and that he had stolen his identity in order to fool Snake.
In mgs2 everyone saw in Campbell and Rose they themselves, but we discovered in the end that they were nothing more but I.A.
In Mgs3 all of us were sure about the identity of ADAM (EVA). Well, we were all fooled by the end of the game. as a matter of fact ADAM was not her, a chinese spy, but Ocelot.
The case gets a little more complicated when we think about MGS4. I can only imagine that the “stolen” identity is Solidus. We thought that the body Ocelot burned on the Volta was Big boss, but at the end of the game Big boss himself showed up and screwed our minds (for those who did not spoil the epic moment because of boot camp).
Jesus, there’s a Mindfuck even in Peace walker, in which we were all fooled by thinking that Paz was a nice and innocent girl. Well guess what: She was a Cipher’s agent.
I don’t think that in TPP we’re playing as a clone or fake Big boss, but this shit makes me wonder if we will also be witnessing a case of “stolen” identity in the new upcoming title.

Her identity is still debatable. The whole game is debatable. She wasn’t ‘just’ anything.
The person rosemary is real, raiden married her and shes in mgs4. There was a brief ai of her. The patriots captured her because she defied orders, and then an ai was created to fool raiden.
But then how did Campbell know both Jack and Rose by the time of MGS4?
I’m not sure, theres a big gap there. It’s possible the real campbell could have acted as CO to jack on a mission, maybe even the mission to rescue sunny.
