PlayStation 4 Ground Zeroes bundle on the way?
Famitsu’s latest issue comes with a special feature showing off limited edition game systems released in the past. Some of them are related to Kojima Productions games. This led Kojima to gather the systems lying around at his office.
“I couldn’t resist lining up the hand-helds we made in the past.”
“Very precised, very beautiful.”
“But this one is the best of the best, forever best.”
The PlayStation 3 in the picture above is the Gun Metal Edition related to Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, now a true collector’s item.
What’s interesting is that Kojima seems to be considering a limited edition PlayStation 4 system as well, related to Ground Zeroes. Because after these tweets, he asks: “After all, I wonder if you want a limited edition?”. A bit later he teases a partnership with Sony, saying: “[SONY] × [PS4] × [MGS GZ] collaboration initiative is in progress. More information at a later date.”
Of course, it makes sense both for Sony and Kojima Productions to release such a special edition bundle. It would be a good way for Sony to introduce the PlayStation 4 (releasing later this month) to Japanese consumers, and for Kojima to get Ground Zeroes into Japanese homes. But nothing is certain yet.

Man! I wonder how fast will it be announced and if it will make it to Europe. And if it makes it, l hope it’s 20 March. I can’t wait to get it after the 20th, it’ll kill me!
Yeah, I assume that this is about Japan for now (since he tweeted it in Japanese and with upcoming PS4 release there), but they might bring a bundle to other regions as well.
What true MGS fan would wait to buy it? I know l can’t resist buying a PS4 right now to play GZ on the 20th, That sucks… I wanted it… but l don’t have the patience. I’ve waited enough already about a new MG!
I couldent wait. Thats why i bought GZ for ps3. I was waiting to get ps4 for just this very reason. I had ah feeling they wer going to put out ah limited edition mgsv ps4. Altho granted nothings been confirmed yet.
So i’ll be playing GZ on ps3 until kojima makes up my mind about this ps4 bundle that may or may not happen. Hopefully the wait isent that long.

Im a proud owner of the mgs4 ps3 and i’ll also be a proud owner of the mgsv ps4. So yes kojima please do it.
This is obviously for Japan only, but this is great news, especially if the console is a limited edition.
Don’t think we’ll see anything like that in the West. :-/
