Skull Face action figure has a price and a release date, and some new pictures
The Skull Face action figure by Play Arts has been given a price and a release date on the Japanese Amazon website. It will cost ￥7430 (around €50 / $63), and is set for release on February 28th of next year.
Update: The figure also appeared on Square Enix’ own online shop. They are selling it a week earlier, on February 21st, but for a higher price (￥10090).
A bunch of new photos has also been released. You can see the different accessories (weapon, hat), swappable parts (various hands and a head with and one without domino mask) and some poses of this mysterious character.

28th February, TPP’s release date time frame?
Doubt it; Venom Snake who’s an actual TPP character is already out as a figure and the game is nowhere to be seen still. Just think about this as more Ground Zeroes merchandise.

I’m sorry bro! but it’s better if we get realistic about the date; Feb seems a little too soon still. We all want the game already; but we also have to learn to be patient :/

Venom snake figure is set to release in December 2014
Yeah, but the bronze version was sold at several events this year.
bronze version is a beta. it doesn’t count (in my opinion)
Some people still got the golden SDCC one at special events.

i don’t think TPP is going to be released this year. I didn’t say that. i believe the game will be coming in February or March, these are reasonable dates. (again, it’s just my opionion)
I’m just saying man: a figure release date has nothing to do with a game one… Is just promotional merchadise. 🙂
Hmm pretty cheap and looks cool, but not sure if I wanna buy this figure…
I’d maybe end up smashing it into pieces because of what SF did in GZ >:C.
I feel he has way too much depth and such an interesting outlook on things that it’s impossible to hate him. Just from the tapes in GZ alone, he’s already one of my favorite new characters in recent gaming. Even if he’s the world biggest murderer, I love him as a character and interesting villain.
I can see why it’s cheap. as a character he’s terribly awesome, but as a figure; mehh, it looks a bit weird in your room… Quality is nice as usual though

I think that in december kojima will reveal the release date. because the giveaway thing of ground zeroes is just to get more people to buy the game before they reveal the release date. I really think that before 2014 ends we’ll know the exact release date.
Maybe at the Video Game Awards? Maybe. Or maybe not…

Or maybe Hideo will pull another “Mobbydick” on us and put the Release Date somewhere hidden inside the PC Code of Ground Zeroes PC Version.
